So many benefits of coconut oil!

Happen to see there are so many benefits of coconut oil!
Skin care: Coconut oil is excellent massage oil that acts as an effective moisturizer on all types of skin, including dry skin. Unlike mineral oil, there is no chance of having any adverse side effects on the skin from the application of coconut oil. Therefore, it is a safe solution for preventing dryness and flaking of skin. It also delays the appearance of wrinkles and sagging of skin, which normally accompany aging.

That's interesting. I don't think anybody had ever heard of that before.

It's the single best thing I've ever used for my hair. It's replaced all my pots of this n that promising healthy, shiny, smooth, conditioned hair. It's a miracle in a pot. And that pot was £15 and will probably last years.

Just posted on the Aldi Food and Drink thread, then remembered this one.

Aldi have big 300 ml jars of 100% raw organic coconut oil for only £2.99. Just bought some. Holland and Barrett charge £16.55 for a 500 ml jar and I only buy those when I have a half price voucher.

Shelf life on mine is Dec 2017 so worth buying a few in.

I might have to try this - and that price sounds like a bargain. Thanks for the posting

That Aldi price is a bargain. I buy organic virgin coconut oil direct from Sri Lanka in bulk for £5.50 for 500g

It's useful for lubricating the ferrules on your fishing rods and stopping them from sticking together.
