Don't Like The Guy
But if that were me now after that annihilation, because that's all it can be described as, I would just carry on walking shouting 'stuff your interview' as I walked off stage leaving them with the gap to fill. I'm actually a bit disgusted at all that. Don't agree with his views at all .... but this leaves a very bad taste.

Can't really understand people claiming not to have sympathies with his views but then being affronted when others challenge them.
How else would you have dealt with it? Homophobia isn't like being rude about someone's shoes. |

I agree OP,... it's a disgrace!
There have been far worse HM's who have made worse comments and either had a fair eviction or got removed from the house. BB have gone too far this time. |

You've missed my point - It was a public vote and if Nancy had the least votes she should have gone, they shouldn't fix the result after the event (if that were the case.) As for your question how would I have dealt with it - it's not my place to have 'dealt with it', I would have agreed to disagree and carried on. |

I don't agree with the things he says bit I hate this baying mob mentality. Emma should be interviewing him about his time in the house instead of going over this over and over. He was invited on this show and paid a fee. He made these comments before he went in. The idea of anybody being there for the sole purpose of being made an example of on their exit doesn't sit right with me.

I think accusing all gay parents of child abuse with no evidence and tons of counter evidence is simply vile.
Child protection services allow gay people to adopt because they have thoroughly investigated whether it is a healthy environment. I had an abusive childhood with two straight parents as a gay person. That informs my views. |

i dont not agree with him at all however! i went to a christian school where the majority had these views becasue of the way they had been brought up. i would of saved Winston only because he needed being brother more he needed an education to change his homophobic views shouting and screaming at him aint gonna change anything it may make him keep quiet but he will still have homophobic thoughts. We do the same with racism making people scared mute. I really feel for him because if we had the same childhood teaching as him we would most likely have the same thoughts

Sadly, it seems the way to react to view you don't agree with is to be aggressive, and try to bully people into silence, to me that is as wrong as anything he said.

Gay people have to face being told they are child abusers. That is aggression and bullying. I was worried I might turn out to be a paedophile when I was a child because of slurs against gay people claiming they were all paedophiles. Winston's views are not based on reason or evidence just plain uniformed unreflective bigotry. |
