They have this little scenario all set up, where they are going to do this little trial and hold people to account for things that they have said and done in the past. Common practice in BB, often entertaining, always dramatic. They knew that this kind of revelation is likely to lead to an eviction, then pretty much ensured it with the housemate vote tonight - leading nicely into a little interview where Emma and Rylan can 'shine' and show the right amount of outrage on our behalf. We can all feel satisfied that this man has been rightfully told off by our hosts on our behalf.

All drama carefully orchestrated and executed by the producers for our 'entertainment'. They got what they wanted, a lot of people talking about the housemates, the press loving it, all in the first few days ... and all set up from the initial VT edited carefully to show his 'back to the wall' comment which set the tone for this drama.

Not an attempt to justify Winston at all, there is no justification for what he said, but it's all so very predictable from Big Brother.”

Good point.
I can't say I like it. I found it all very uncomfortable to watch tonight.

Its trash television on Ch5 and not Question Time on the BEEB.

I really don't think she had to try....

If she hadn't been tough on Winston she would have got criticism for being too soft . She was in a no win situation and I personally thought she was right to press him on his views. I think he is an unpleasant individual.

I'm not a fan of Emma but I also thought she did a great job under very difficult circumstances . Like all politicians he just did not want to answer the pertinent questions .

Even so he is still entitled to his own views the same as she is.

Do you think that not wanting equality for everyone is an opinion though?

By that logic those who were anti civil rights in America for African Americans had the right to their opinion.

She can't bleedin' well win. When she doesn't press issues she gets slagged off for it. When she DOES she gets slagged off for it.

I thought she was extremely strong tonight, but everyone loves to criticise!

Er nobody is entitled to be a bigot. Would you be entitled to hate black people?

In the last series there were countless threads asking why Emma didn't take someone to task and glossed around things. She can't win.

I'll be very surprised if you get an answer to that.

She is going from bad to worse.
It is just a gigantic ego trip now for her, and Rylan, and they seem to be very much involved in the production side of BB now which to me is not good.

They should be between the audience and production, as in the old days, not holding high the mantra of the producers.

They are very much expendable, and the sooner they go the better.

Last nights eviction show and Bots were disgraceful attempts at intelligent television.
Quite awful, they should be ashamed.

Not a fan of Emma Willis but she was spot on pushing for an answer on the comment. Winston is a typical political snake trying to avoid answering difficult questions.

Yeah me too. All this hatred towards him is classic chav pack behaviour. It's scary that we share this planet with so many mindless morons.
The man is entitled to his opinions withouty shouty scum getting in his face.
How Emma will keep her job after that performance is beyond me.

Classless, the lot of them.

Agreed. If he had answered the question straight out I'd have had more respect for him. Also his comment to Rylan about Rylans "lifestyle" was horrible

Most BB viewers would. It's a pretty long word for those folk.

Both of them are becoming increasingly arrogant, and they should realise, especially Rylan that BB may not last, in fact I doubt if the audience figures will keep it on air once the current license expires. Before last night they have both chastised viewers who dared to voice criticism of the show, and showed contempt for their views.

They lack tolerance of opinions the don't agree with.

Rylan showed his lack of professional ability as an interviewer, he did not let Winston finish a sentence, or take any notice of his replies, he acted like a kid in a playground, pushing his own life and agenda, because he had the support of a baying mob. That was a form of bullying, both abused their position last night to heap maximum humiliation on that stupid man, worse they both obviously enjoyed it. Shame on the pair of them.

Emma never let's people answer a question, and pushes her own opinion, but she has the looks, so she gets more work. How long that will last is questionable. They got a lot of support, but they have also lost a lot of fans through their behaviour.

I agree Emma and Rylan, you are both meant to be Professionals?
Whatever peoples thoughts on Winston's comments he is entitled to his opinion and belief's! Your faces could not have shown, more contempt whilst interviewing Winston.
Yes he made comments which upset the GP, he paid the price, don't you think?
But to humiliate, ignore and scowl at someone, whilst on your show is below the belt.

I agree. BB put the quote into the Task knowing that it would cause upset. I do not agree with anything that Winston said but they set him up and then used it to criticise him.

Normally i'm a fan of emma but she was so bad last night. The BB suits set winston up for a fall right from the start. Emma, rylan and that poisonously pious bots crowd did the dirty work for them.
Bless You
