What he said about child adoption by gay couples, likening it to child abuse, was obviously wrong. But having the belief that gay adoption is wrong is just as legit as having the belief that it's right. Even if the former carries the minority. Studies have shown that children being brought up by same sex parents are 3-4 times more likely to become homosexual themselves. Many of whom go on to suffer from depression, self-harm, attempt or succeed in suicide. As loving and caring as a gay couple may be in the upbringing of a child, it will never be anything but a poor substitute for the natural upbringing of a child by a mother&father.

Homosexuality isn't a choice, so why would you think that because a child is brought up by gays they would "become gay" themselves ?
