3 days in and we're already seeing a lot of interference by Big Brother. It's so bad this time it's like they wrote the script for the first week rather than letting the HMs come to their own perceptions for the people they now live with. Winston was booted out in a twist that seems to of been set up in the last few moments when they turned the voting into saving "ONE" housemate and then feeding Winston to the others after feeding them the line about his stance on gay couple child adoption which in it of itself was a manipulation that normally doesn't occur until later because it influences HMs first impressions to much.

Likewise it seems everyone knows who was going into the house, the original idea that they'd have no idea has been dispensed with entirely, there's no surprise from the HMs on the first night which makes the whole opening show seem numb and pointless, and the earlier twists were pretty lame and predictable.

Totally disappointing start to the series, the more Big Brother tries to manipulate things the worse it gets.

Had hoped this series would buck the trend and we would be talking about a series for the right reasons

All it's done is split the forums and social media right down the middle, got people at each others throats and they are probably looking into the forums and social media having a good laugh at what their handiwork has done

By mucking about with the first set of noms BB have showed that nothing has really change

It's just a question of when the secret room (or whatever it's called this time) will come into play and how BB will fix so one of the fauxmance couple will go in

its only been 4 days but looking to me, like the worst c5 CBB yet.

I think it's been a terrible start to the series so far. After the terrific success that was CBB16 this new series feels really flat and dull.

There is already far to much interference for sure - already we have had -

1) Only 3 hms nomd who just happened to be the 3 most annoying as decided by the hms themselves

2) They then staged a task revealing bad things hms have said or done in the past, the most comtroverial of which happened to be from a nomd hm.

3) Next they revealed, only after the vote had closed that there would be a twist in which only one hm would be saved by the public vote and the hms would chose between the other two, who would go.

Whoever came up with that idea for the frst week should have been fired on the spot !

Last one wasn't a terrific success though

I disagree- I thought it was a great series and those who watched it mostly seemed to enjoy it. Yes, there was a predictable winner, but there were also many great characters and some celebs that people had actually heard of in there. It was my favourite CBB series to date, and I have watched since CBB11.

I'm liking this series so far. Lots of interesting characters amongst the shallow ones.
