I tend to agree. People are saying he didn't liken gay couples adopting/having kids to child abuse IN THE HOUSE but he does actually believe this, in or out of the house.
C5 must have been hoping he would start rows etc for our entertainment without realising.. or caring.. how abhorrent his views are. BB has become gladitorial. Those of us who watch are not dissimilar to the Romans watching lions picking off Christians imo!
Not anything like as extreme but think of nasty people like Helen Woods winning BB. I'm ashamed I watch these progs and I guess I'm a hypocrite but including Winston in the house was going way too far.

He shouldn't of been in the house from the start, however once he was in he should of been treated like every other HM instead of being set up.

Winston didn't try to entertain with his homophobia, Channel 5 did.

I agree he should never have been in the house.

I agree with both points here. BB was definitely on an ideological witch hunt with Winston and only put him in to destroy him. He might be a moron and he might deserve it but that doesn't mean BB is innocent of wrongdoing.

He is not a celebrity and he certainly isn't a "politician" as BB claims so he should never have been in there.

And I don't think any of this is lost on most people.

The Guardian is only god for wrapping Fish & Chips in.

It didn't seem like a good way how CBB brought up the comment to get the housemates talking about the issue rather than letting it come up naturally in conversation.

How true. That whole task was set up to highlight his views - and cause conflict in the house for our delectation.

PS And look how much mileage BB are getting out of it.

I don't think the article writer could have actually watched the show if they have come to the conclusion that Big Brother was 'celebrating' him.

The Author should watch more than an episode or two of CBB.
