Yep. I don't believe but, if I did, I'd accept a God who loved people for what's in their hearts rather than the fact they follow a book to the letter. It's organised religion and those who insist on their man made rules being adhered to that does the damage

It's not - that's a completely false construct built up down the years by the Romans. If they'd fiddled about with the dates and the calendar slightly differently we could be anywhere between e.g. 2000 and 2025.
The Jewish calendar is more accurate imo as it predates all their meddling.

Spot on. I'm not Religious whatsoever but I'm starting to love the bible, because I'm looking at it from a different angle, one the churches aren't very keen on - what the book actually says (bearing in mind it's been fiddled with since the start to only include the bits they want, and often translated in such a way as to make the true meanings often hidden).
Literally speaking, what the Church became a very very long time ago was exactly what 'Jesus' (which wasn't even his name!!!) said NOT to do.
