Hopefully we get some normal nominations to see who he will target. The easy option of say Jonathan and Tiffany on the basis he hasn't really got to know them or target the vacuous younger HMs who are probably his real competition.

But either way, he wasn't entering the box out of the goodness of his heart, he freely admitted doing it would give him Brownie points or words to that effect.

He was talking about his fellow HMs, not the public. He said he'd score brownie points with them and then fist them. Or rather that was the action he mimed. Twice.

I think he was joking. Well, half joking. He's come to play the game and win, which is fair enough.

True, he was being honest and not hiding what he was doing........ I don't have a problem with that.......it's when folk are misleading the public, I have a problem

Musicals are what he's always done, first and foremost, yet many seem to think he's only been in Eastenders and has since done some theatre work. He's been in dozens of musicals - both in the West End and in UK touring productions. I've seen him on stage and he's an amazing performer, great dancer.

As for in the BB House, just my opinion but he's coming over as very false & so OTT.”

His Eastenders character was pretty similar to how he's been in the house imo.

Well I prefer him out of quite a few in there.

He is a joy to watch onscreen and off.

I've watched BB since the shows inception and I was delighted when I heard he was entering the house.

He's coming across very well IMO. I know he has poloraised opinion on this forum but it's like the OP said, he does have a presence.

He is much more watchable than Megan, Scotty, Steph etc.

I've promised not to vote after the farce of BB14 (no, I won't get over Helen winning ever!) but so far I am supporting John and I hope he goes far in the competition.

He is playing a great game having so many people falling for his act.

I took it that way too . I was a bit shocked even so . But then I was shocked at tiffany saying she wouldn't kick off yet as it was too early in the game for that . Brought it home(both times) that this is deffo a game these days rather than the popularity contest it used to be .
Yes john has a presence , but a carefully crafted one . He makes sure he is front and centre when it matters . His routine in the dr last night made me want to boke , all that drama was so ott . especially the tear wipe and somber demeanour .
I'm not keen on him at all , but maybe I'll change my mind as the days go by . At least he is more palable than snotty and jezza .

I disagree but if you are right then good on him. After all, it is only a game

I agree however my hope that he eventually trips himself up as imo he cant keep up the act of being all things to all people for ever. Within the first hour on the first night he imo showed me exactly his Game Plan.

Not me. From the little I knew about him, I wasn't keen but did try & keep an open mind & judge him on how he was in the House, however it wasn't long before my feelings on him proved to be the same as they were pre CBB.

I think that's exactly what he's trying to do but I think there is every chance he possibly could keep it up, he's an avid BB fan who knows exactly how the game works & he has the added bonus of being an actor.
I've nothing against HMs playing the game, good luck to them but for me, there's just something very unlikeable about JP.

He was a complete arsehole to some of the contestants on Over The Rainbow, especially Sophie who he criticised every single week - not even constructive criticism, just plain mean to girls ages 16 - 22 auditioning for a role on stage on national TV. He's a muppet (I'd use a much stronger word but it'd only get censored).

I saw it completely different to you. I remember him being critical of Sophie but I don't think he was nasty. He had some sparing with Charlotte, which is all panto anyway, but he was no Simon Cowell. I always found his criticisms constructive and fair.

I don't think he was an arsehole..he was there to advise and critique. Somebody else on here has said, he is a very strong character, which for me is part of his appeal. He's in it to win it and yes, much of his tactics are transparent but he is more interesting to watch than the reality kids, Imo

If they bother to show it tonight - which I very much doubt given that tonight's HL's will no doubt be dominated by the Bowie news/Angie, Jonathan's departure and the nominations, Mr Partridge gave quite a performance on the LF last night barking orders about when everyone must go to bed, when the lights must go out. Gave a brief glimpse of the John I'd been expecting ....

I really liked him with Angie in last nights show. Two or three times we saw him looking out for her and supporting her as she struggled (even before the news of David's death).

I wasn't sure of him at the start but he seems a genuine guy with a lot of patience and empathy.
