Seems alright - he's very socially aware and prides himself on staying in control and level headed, probably due to his shady past.

So far, he's just presented a 'Mr nice guy' and 'I'm a sound geezer' image that he's stuck to and has done him well to this point.

We'll see what he's made of when he's forced to air some opinions, is involved in an argument, or has to make an awkward/harsh decision. He may remain calm, or he might flip out and lose the plot.

With the way the press used to report about him with regard to his relationships he came across to me as a bit of a rat and didn't he admit to it in his intro VT?

He seems likeable so far, hasn't done or said anything to make me dislike him.
