Does anyone like Christopher Maloney so far?

I felt very sorry for him on X Factor as Tunisia and Louis really didn't like him. I think he is coming across very well so far and I think he will do well.

What are your opinions so far?

I don't dislike him as much as I expected to. I really disliked his fake shaking and pretend nerves on X Factor.

i also felt very sorry for him as he was being bullied left right and center. wasn't a fan of him as a singer though

he seems nice.

Just posted on another message that he is the least favourite to win with the bookies, currently 40/1 which shows he's not going down too well at this stage, no one betting on him to win!

I don't really feel strongly about him one way or the other. We are seeing far too much of the vacuous youngsters who only seem concerned with where the next drink is coming from and talking about 'showmances' or snuggling opportunities.

Too early to call - it's a wait and see for me.

Doesn't seem like there's anything to the guy at all so far, for me.

Well said. I think we could have the making of an interesting season if it wasn't for the producers obsession with the cretinous behaviour of the young uns. As for Chris,he seems ok so far.

I find him distinctly unlikeable and lacking in any charisma. Every time he opens his mush-mouth I reach for the mute button.

I agree. I haven't watched much over the last couple of years but actually liked the look of this line up. Sadly, the fact we've got a group of HMs who could be really interesting is going to be destroyed, yet again, by the producers obsession with making the show purely for the scripted reality generation and only caring about the kids getting hammered and jumping into bed for headlines

He grated on me in XF to be honest , but even so the bile heaped on him on social media and in the press was horrific . However I must say that so far he has been pleasant enough and I found it interesting that he wanted to get the danni thing settled . I had thought , given the way he has been portrayed in the media, that he might drag things out with danni to cause a bit of tussling and get the other hms taking sides in their personal business, but he didn't . He has been very adult and chilled in general and I see nothing to dislike. However unless something major happens to endear him to the public then he is just another also-ran because there are too many big characters in there . Once they are whittled down he might shine through, but so far he's been pretty harmless and I don't mind him at all .Apart from the eyebrows .

I think that he is doing his best to be sociable and appear as a nice bloke to the audience. You can't really tell with anyone in the first week, better to wait until the veneer slips and we start to see the true personality come out.

I really didn't like him on XF but I don't dislike him in the house. I don't really have much of an opinion on him at the moment. Time will tell...

I don't trust him. I believe he badly let Daniela down and wanted to make up to ensure he had a friend in the house.

Nope. He's not for me.

There's something off about him. But he might do well, he made it far in X Factor in spite of, well, everything.

It's true, the entire country loathes him.

Autocorrect got you too, didn't it?

He's okay.
Nothing offensive about him, unlike some of the others.

he comes across quite well, actually, and he made an effort to patch whatever the beef was with Daniella, in an adult manner.

He's not perfect, but I don't think he's as terrible as people think, either. I have no real opinion on him.
