It was called courting in my day and we would go out to the movies. Nowadays they call it Netflix and chill, so I guess that is similar, only staying in to watch the movie in a room with no heating

My ex husband used to say it,he's a scouser and I just presumed it was just some old Scouse word for the oldies courting as I've never heard it called "stepping out " before

I have never thought it was anything but a stunt to get them publicly, as if any of us actually care.
