I am being reminded of someone each time she speaks. It's not about accent but more about the cadence and pacing of her speech. I think the bells that are ringing are those of a character in a film rather than a real person. Its bugging me. I don't suppose anyone can help can they?

I expected her to have a deep, sassy New York accent based on all those gifs and not sound so squeaky and high-pitched.

Who knows but I find her voice fine and certainly doesn't annoy me

It's been bugging me too. I never saw her before CBB and as soon as I heard her speak it sounded familiar.

There's an actress called Loretta Devine. That's who she sounds like.

I know this is going to sound really weird and a bit unlikely but... Maya Angelou?

It's the delivery, and the warmth in her voice.

How funny! I was waiting to be laughed off the forum.

After I read your thread yesterday, I googled a random youtube vid of Tiffany, and listened without watching, and that's what I got. Maya.

I have now done a comparision and while they are not identical I am satisfied that it is who I was trying to think of. I am in your debt.

Estupendo. Arriba Espana.

I thought it was a voice from a children's animation film but I can't remember which one.

I have history of waking at ungoldly hours frantically reciting the alphabet in the hope that some letter will help me put a name to an elusive face so I fully appreciate the 'bugging me' aspect of this!

I lay in bed doing exactly that last night. I am in your debt. Straight off to the land of nod tonight!

LIly Darling. Maya Angelo has had a few acting roles and may have voiced a character in the past. But just because Tiff reminds me of Maya doesn't mean that is who she reminds you of. Hope you get yoru curiosity satisfied.

She said in tonights show that she was from the Bahamas - I just looked up Rhianna's speaking voice (as she is from the Bahamas too) - I think it's similar.
