That's definitely cruelty to Pigs - what have they ever done to deserve such a painful death.

They were daft to eat Joanie, proving she makes everything ill just by her existence

Pigs is pigs though, it's what they do. Anyway, they don't know Moanie as well as we do so were unable to make a rational decision on the matter.

You are right that episode was terrible, do TPTB not realize that no one likes the Zoanie pairing? With the time spent on this wedding you'd think Robron was the couple getting married. Joanie is a selfish bitch and Zack is a lazy fat ass. I also think Lisa is way too nice, she needs to beat Jaonie's ass, the woman has no shame and seems like she wants Lisa to feel bad for her.

Also was it just me or did those female Dingles in the cafe look like McQueens? I thought I was watching the wrong show for a second.

This might be wishful thinking, but considering ED's shallow obsession with what Twitter, FB and other social media say, they must now realise that probably 99% of viewers loathe the Zak/Joanie pairing and after dragging it out for a while longer, I'm convinced Joanie will be killed off and Zack and Lisa will get back together.

I think the writing was on the wall when Zak didn't just call Joanie Lisa, (an easy enough mistake to make when you're drunk ) but actually said "I've always loved you and I always will". He's only known Joanie 5 minutes so he was clearly speaking to Lisa there. Plus they've now made it clear that Lisa does still love Zak, (yes, stupid I know but there you go), so there's no doubt she would take him back in a heartbeat.

Keep the faith peeps, we'll be back to 'Zisa' before you know it.

But that is part of the problem - putting them back together after all this just makes the characters AND storyline look stupid / shallow / meaningless

They've already put Laurel & Ashley back together
Its almost a certainty that Cain & Moira will end up back together
If they put Lisa & Zak back together - then all it does is prove how narratively incompetent the people who are coming up with these storylines actually are.

I feel more sorry for her. She's got to have sex with Zak and has bellend as a stepdaughter. Suitable punishment for the affair.

I agree sheepie, but if it gets the godawful Joanie off my tellybox I'm prepared to let them off on that one.

I still prefer the Terrible Combine Harvester Double Tragedy option. Then Lisa can feed what's left to the pigs, comb her hair, and go off and find someone better.

There was a spoiler I read months ago that had said a member of newly engaged couple would leave the other for dead. I was sure that was about Zack and Joanie, but it looks like that spoiler was wrong.

I agree, but I fear ED are far too grounded in realism for something like that to happen.

Analysis of emmerdale Characters. Shortish version

1) Paddy - Paddy dear its customary to send Anniversary cards so they ariive either before or on the day of the anniversary, not the day after, that's not going to get you back in Moira's good books is it?

2) Pierce - keep that well won money, don't listen to Rhona.

3) Dingles - why did we not get to see the party that went on sounded far better than the wedding episode.

4) Bailey - had fun but hasn't noticed that his girlfriend is very disturbed and never actually talks to him properly.

5) Zak you berk leave Lisa alone.

6) Kwynne doesn't want to ever know what goes on in Zak and Joanie's bedroom ever again

7) Lisa - was quite nice this episode sadly being a nagging hag for years has spoilt her for good

8) Rakesh - turned quite the detective but is sadly let down by the 10 million skeletons he has in the closet

9) Chrissie - has become a criminal mastermind overnight, lets hope she doesn't take up crime as a job because everyone would be afraid

10 No David contacting Tracy jailbird father is definitely not the right thing do do.

11) Tracy dear make sure David knows you don't want to marry him.

12) Ronnie - forgiving nature after Chrissie accused him he went on to blab all Rakesh's secrets.

Its the Malts Summer Fayre this weekend with the usual stalll, Llama Riding and Llama Burgers, in addition we have special guests Girls Not Aloud and Peter Andra, the best soundalike artists in the business playing so all should come for a good time.

The lion that escaped from Robblesfield petting zoo has been recaptured while it was eating a Llama that it had been killed, questions are being asked why a petting Zoo was keeping a lion in it garden

A lot of complaints have been made after the wedding of of Joannie and Zak Dingle because of all the rampaging drunk Dingles, Zebedee Dingle was found peeing against the malt herb garden while the Horse they brought at all of the late Edna Birch's prize roses, Harriet the vicar is furious.

Even I can't find an actual story of a Lion escaping to put here - you're really challenging us this week!

I'm sure British petting zoos must be full of lions, surely at least one escaped this week? You're just not trying, Alley.
