Poor Moses my arse. Look at him. He's got about 17 parents and guardians fighting to wipe his cute little botty and run round supplying him with rusks. He's laughing.

It's all part of his plan for world domination.
He' s his mother' s son

Analysis of Emmerdale Characters

1) Robert dear why would you waste your time keeping confidences of THAT, tell Chas and then wash your hands of the whole dirty mess, none of those people are worth your effort.

2) Chas - if everybody is telling that Gordon is a moron, a moron, that Gordon is a moron listen to them, but of course you have never showed an ounce of sense when it comes to men.

3) Cain was concerned and told Chas stuff about stuff but Kwynne doesn't give a stuff

4) Eric - is concerned that the B&B has money troubles, perhaps if you hadn't driven away all your regular customers you might be doing better.

5) Tracey makes a good business and blackmailing team with Carly

6) Finn - shut up Finn

Sidebar Pete is being sentenced, has the actor left for good or is he just on holiday.

7) Diane was wearing her best wig yet, just how many does she have, because wigs don't come cheap.

8) Dross was just as interested in child care as ever, ie not at all.

9) emma - Got one over Charity and blackmailed her but didn't ask nearly as much as I would have, I would have asked for full custody of Moses, why didn't she?

10) Charity - How long do we think Charity will allow Emma to stay on top, revenge can't be far away

11) Lawrence - Has Lawrence's batteries run down because he seemed to be operating at half power.

12) Nicola - wonder how long she will manage to be a stay at hom mother.

13) Jimmy employ some more drivers and then you won't be stuck behind spillages

14) Adumb was living upto his name this episode.

Ways how to to put Dross on the naughty step.

Part 2 Dross is rude to teacher Cain so Cain beats Dross to an inch of his life, believes in corporal punishment does Cain, he believes in the school of hard knocks
Aww, he's only had about five lines to say in the previous month, bless him.

You're laughing now. Wait until he gets his hands on Home Farm and the haulage business. And the pub.

Aww, he's only had about five lines to say in the previous month, bless him.
Any more and he might be in serious danger of having a storyline.

Analysis of Emmerdale Characters

please bear in mind I fast forwarded so much of this episode that it could almost be an episode of Hollyoaks

1) The Story that I daren't talk about looked intense while I was Fast forwarding it so I hope everyone else enjoyed it (so to speak)

That of course leaves not much to say.

2) The seaside looked nice in February though

3) Clash of Titans - Charity and Moira butting heads was the best p[art of the episode

4) Cain and Moira - Moira said they would be fine if they stick together, cue them not sticking together with 2 weeks of Charity getting out.

5) It was good to see Eric out and about again and thinking of money making schemes

6) Ross and Cain, why is Ross so unpleasant to Cain, has he forgotten being left in a van at a cliff edge.?

7) Carly and Tracy make a good team.

Ways how Cain dreams of Killing Ross

Cain leaves Ross in a van at the Cliff edge of the white cliffs of Dover, Cain dares Ross to survive jumping from there.

Weekly bulletin of the Malt Shovel

The malt apologizes for missing issues for the last 2 week, due to technical issues beyong the Malts control

The Big news in the village for the past 2 weeks has been the 60th Anniversary party of the Shuttleworth family taking over the Malt formerly known as the Malt Shovel . 102 year old Archie made a speech that was loved by all who heard it. He remembered fondly his rivallry with Old Amos Brearly back in the day. Then everybody toasted the next 60's years and a good time was had by all.

Farmer Brown was stopped by Pc Swirling on his way back from the party and breathalyzed and was charged with Drink driving, this was after he collided with and killed one of his own Llama's. Farmer Brown will appear in court next month.

Diane Sugden has sold her half of The Woolpack to a mystery buyer at the behest of her business partner Chas Dingle, we wish the new owner well in the coming time they will need the luck.

The Malt has won best pub in North Yorkshire again, the Woolpack came 231st.

Analysis of Emmerdale Characters and storylines

1) The Storyline that can't be named some of the acting has been great indeed actress playing Chas has been excellent. Even Kwynne has come round to some of the storyline

Sidebar

Due to Kwynne being unable to say Bad things about he who can't be named it also mean to my great delight and hilarity that I am also completely unable to say to say nice things about him, which I might have been forced to do a bit of today, how delightfully timely was that heh Ha ha ha.

2) Lucy pargeter was doing sterling work this week and Kwynne cannot praise her enough and this from someone who is normally very critical of Chas

great punch too much better than the usual slap that Soapsters usually do.

3) Gordon was very nasty indeed this episode and well done the actor who has been treated badly by some round here.

Do we think he arranged for a night in with the boys the second Chas left?

4) Cain was excellent to this episode and was deprived of beating the crap out of Gordon, how long will this last?

5) The Fake drinks storyline, well done Duncan that wiped the smiles off their faces didn't it, sad your wife left you.

6) Kerry got drunk quickly I guess being of the booze does that for you

7) Diane - so the new plan for her is move her out of the Pub to let her take up her sister place in the B&B

8) Finn - shut up Finn

9) Charity with barely an extra breathe she pulled a fast one and vanquished Emma to the also rans with out breaking Sweat

10) Dross dear Charity is coming for you, don't get comfortable

11) The Haulage business - so Jimmy has been doing his paperwork, new obvious job for Nicola eh.

You might say Kate Oates has a well ordered well thought through plan but how likely is than than is coming about accidentally?

Ways how Cain dreams of Killing Gordon.

Cain ties Gordon privates to a wall and hit them with a mallet until Gordon passes out and bleeds out.

She was fabulous last night - Emma, if I were you, I'd start running right now...

She was! I know some people say it's boring how she always comes out on top, but if you're that fabulous, it's difficult to do anything else.
It's all just 'Tall Poppy Syndrome' anyway.

I do hope Emma puts up enough of a fight to make it entertaining though.

I found it boring before she got put away but it's been quite entertaining so far.

I think Emma's already lost now, she owes Charity a favour. She's no opponent now, but an underling.
Moira should get ready for some fisticuffs.

I hope you're wrong. I'm looking forward to a proper girl-on-girl feud!

We'll see, perhaps Emma will manage to put up a fight, but I think she's just an accessory now to the Charity/Moira rivalry.
I think you'll still get a girl on girl feud, just with Charity and Moira instead.

Must admit I'm really looking forward to this when Charity gets out. I was worried it was all going to be about Charity taking Cain back from Moira but having added Emma into the equation it gives the story a different dynamic. I've really enjoyed the Charity/Emma scenes which we've had the past couple of weeks.

I was worried for the same reasons you were. At least by injecting Emma into whatever story is unfolding here they have switched it up a bit.

I have a feeling

Spoiler
I think you might be right.

Then Cain will be all "You don't trust me. I can't do this." He'll walk away and then not come back till the next morning. Moira will fear the worst even more.

Charity won't put up with Moira's incessant nagging like Cain does. She'll have to watch it or she's likely to find herself 'accidentally' falling into in her sausage machine

Charity wouldn't win in a physical fight with Moira, you could write that ending.

Yeah Moira will swing her round by her ears and dump her into the sausage machine instead.

I have commented on other threads about Holly returning next month.

The Radio Times indicated that the week Feb 1st-5th would be a Tess & Nessa free zone. I therefore as good as gave Emmerdale a miss for the week. To be on the safe side, I did record at least the credits to be on the safe side. Just as well really! As Nessa was in Friday's episode after all, I recorded the final part of the ITV2 Omnibus yesterday to watch Nessa's scenes.

Do you like Nessa's new haircut with the fringe, MM? I love it personally - I think a fringe softens every woman's face nicely, (well, apart from Chas's obviously) - but I see a few Dailians are not keen on it.

Although it took me a little getting used to, it does now seem fitting for Nessa to have anew hairstyle to match her new era as mum to Johnny. It will also be a new era for Michelle Hardwick on February 26th, when she turns 40. And yes, I do have the day off work then!

Chas's fringe is absolutely horrendous. In fact, her hair looked nicer when she was in hospital for her PTSD than what it does usually.

Vanessa's fringe, I think, is much nicer and makes her look younger.

I agree - it's softer and thinner and takes 5-10 years off her. Poor Chas looks like she's got a damask curtain hanging over her forehead. Worse still, even when the rest of her hair is mussed, curly, wavy or whatever, her thick fringe is always thick, solid and straight as a die.
