Really? I guess we feel the complete opposite about Jai and Chrissie
I guess so.

Though I liked Chrissie before too, she was sympathetic as the wronged woman and while I'm not bouncing off the ceiling that she has gone down the villain route, I'm happy to watch it and enjoy seeing her come out on top.
I don't think the whole superbitch transformation was particularly necessary and it's not what I would have chosen to do with her character but I still find her enjoyable to watch.

I think that is a fair assessment of Chrissie. I think the wardrobe and hair change is one thing that really make her character ridiculous. And even though I hate the story of her running Andy out of town they could have made it work without the personality transplant.

I thought he was awful at playing evil, so I prefer him this way.

Thank you. She really annoyed me actually when she took the phone off Moira because she was upset and then proceeded to cry down the phone at the operator - like Moira could have just kept the phone!
She was trying to help. She was in a much better state than Moira, but anybody would be upset. I found her reaction quite believable.

I like her hair, but I don't like her jacket that looks like the old office wallpaper.

I actually thought Miora was pretty calm on the phone and was handling it just fine. Chas was also fine until she had the phone in her hand.

While I found her reaction believable I don't think it was necessary to include her in the scene at all and I thought it felt forced that she was there.

That was an aspects of the episodes I enjoyed that the script writers remembered that diane, Chas, Vanessa and moira are friends.

She had started to falter, that's why Chas took the phone of her.She was no longer able to handle it, it got too much.

It was a bit artificial that Diane and her were there but thank goodness they were. I doubt Moira would have gone to seek out Vanessa.

I certainly did appreciate that, and I wouldn't have liked to see Moira deal with it alone but the way in which Chas was incorporated into the scene didn't really work for me, that's all.

No she wouldn't. I did like the bit where Vanessa heard the ambulance and went running up there.

I think the extended Barton's need to feature a bit more in the aftermath.

Collateral damage I guess...
The pigs are my faves.

Yes and think of all those bacon butties and pork chops that'll be going spare eh?
Every cloud etc.........

Completely agree, it's great to see Jai come back from the black cloud he has been shrouded in so long. He's back to his old likable self.
Holly and Jai were a great pairing, however brief.

Now liking the Leyla/Pete pairing, think they could go the distance. As far as any couple can ever go of course. Married within the year and then divorced by the next.
I quite like Leyla and Pete. He's quite boring, but she's lovely enough for two, and he's a little less boring when he's with her.

I think he's struggled a bit in the handing out of storylines, he had a bit of an edge when he was first introduced. Part-time drug dealer, threatener of people that Debbie stabbed in the leg with a screw driver. Then he kind of became this background character while being a main player in a love triangle (talk about weird)

And now, after a stint in prison, we're back here with him basically starting over. I'm going to give him a chance, him and Leyla appear to have a solid foundation and could go somewhere. Looking forward to it.

I've always found Pete a bit angry and shouty, to be honest. But he seems to have calmed down a wee bit.

I'm not really buying this Charity/Cain stuff - is anyone else? It just seems a bit tired to me. I don't believe they want to be together. He doesn't even seem to like her much.

No I don't buy it either, the split from Moira has always felt temporary to me, I knew Charity & Cain wouldn't last long.

He's just been using her, and she, so desperate for him to love her has let him hoping it will reignite some forgotten feelings. It's all backfired spectactularly and she has just come across a bit desperate. Though I do feel a little sorry for her.

Only Pete and James who worked at the farm and would have seen a lot of Holly, as well as being close to Moira. Emma hates Moira and Ross and Finn barely had anything to do with Holly. They' re not really close as a family. I' d rather see Moira' s parents and Granny Barton appear.

She is Moira's sister in law. The closest female relative she has in the village now.

As I said previously, I do not believe that interaction with Holly was necessary for them to feel sorry and offer condolences to Moira.
They're still family. I don't speak to my aunt and uncle but I would certainly be there to offer my condolences if someone were to die.

I would like a Hannah return and yes, Granny Barton and Moira's parents would be a good addition.
For me, because I started watching Emmerdale in 2009, the Barton's are Emmerdale. They're the family I feel most affinity with.

ITV has released Coronation Street Spoilers, but no Emmerdale spoilers. Looks like another big week for Emmerdale

Yes well that was pretty unbelievable - like anyone would sleep with Rachel!

He was a likeable character up until then however.
But that was the era of Jai and Charity Brigadoon when their storyline was on an eternal loop going nowhere and relating to no one else.

The Spoilers for that week were in the Soaplife spoilers posted a few pages ago.

The ITV spoilers haven't been posted yet though
