Agreed. I like the "amusing but would never want to know people like this in real life" female characters like Val, Charity & OriginalGabby but I can see why others might not. So I'm not going to get offended that many people strongly dislike Charity.

I don't mind Pete, I'd much rather watch him than Ross, that's for sure.

I don't think we'll get any more 'Poira' though - that was just part of the plot device to write him out for a bit.

I think so too. I think it would be nice for Pete to get a storyline that doesn't revolve around a woman. Ross too for that matter. Also they need to be careful not to retread old ground with the Pete/Ross crappy rivalry story upon his return.

Let's have him apologise to Cain and Moira, put Finn straight on whose fault it was and have him hard at work at the farm and integrate into the village a little bit.

Both Ross and Pete had 0 friends outside of the family and Debbie. That's why both characters became a bit stale and why their stories keep falling flat.

Don't count on it, Emmeradle had on their Facebook page, "Who should Moira choose Pete or Cain?" And the plot device was not needed Pete was already getting sentenced, they could have just had him go quietly to jail.

Oh c'mon - we've got Charity coming to live with them, Holly bringing god knows what trouble back with her, Cain "having" to ride to the rescue of Moira's family yet again & Charity getting her little digs in to Cain causing him to get "distant" with Moira - who's gonna be the shoulder she cries on............................

We should all write letters to Ian McLeod, that tell him we do not want to see the incestuous Poira pairing and that if he insists on breaking up Cain and Moira he needs to put her with someone who is not related to her.

HV is shaping up very nicely - bunny boilers and psychopaths (mainly female) at every turn.

He flaming was! OT, but yep, I loved HV. Though maybe 2 bunny boilers is 1 too many. Hopefully there'll be a bit more to it. I trust them though, last time was so good.
