tbh I' d forgotten all about her being married until Dan mentioned it a few weeks ago! Now I'm racking my brains and thinking it was a drunken quickie wedding in Vegas or somewhere!
Somewhere that didn't require paperwork to be filed and banns published!”

That's exactly it, a drunken quickie wedding in Vegas.
And it just so happens that the guy she married had been looking for her ever since and showed up on her new wedding day!
It's not something that Dan can hold over Kerry and he shouldn't.

It is funny how the characters seem to plan these huge weddings in a matter of days. It takes most people almost a year to plan your average wedding. Then what about the cost? Kerry and Dan already had one big wedding and now they are planning another. IDK how much weddings cost in the UK but here the can get pretty expensive, last year one of my friend's got married and his in-laws gave him and his wife 20k towards the wedding and it wasn't enough and when one of my cousins got married a few years ago his wedding was almost 100k.”
Somehow, I did manage to

I'm still trying to sear them from my brain, not one of the affairs has been handled the right way. They were literally all terrible.
I cannot imagine spending that much money on one day - who wants to start the first day of the beginning of their lives together under a cloud of debt? Even with the wedding planners in town, people don't get married 6 months after an engagement. I know people who were engaged for 8 years before getting married.
I don't see the rush, except where David was concerned since he thought he was going to die. But all the artificial drama created specifically for weddings now spoils my enjoyment of them.
Tracy had a friggin' frog up her dress!!!
Anyway, I'd quite like for one wedding to go without a hitch, just for once.
