But its so much better with him. Plus I couldn't handle losing Andy and Aaron in one year.

How would you feel if they killed Victoria next week, right after they killed Holly? You'd be losing it.

quite good episode

1) Firstly the elephant in the room, sorry the Helicopter in the room

Found the panic and terror at the arrival of the helicopter to be fairly realistic, of course since Dan ushered everyone out together if the Helicopter was crashing half the village would have died.

Meanwhile has no helicopter flown over the village since last year, not even the police one which given the amount of village crime would in real life have been almost permanently overhead.

Doug seeming to think no helicpter should ever come after what happened last time is just silly and mentioning it 10 times is sillier

2) Rebecca, seems liike a good character, naturally of course being new DS will hate her at first sight, claim she's a bad actress mostly because they didn't like the inbetweeners.

meanwhile seems her family have been telling her nothing or not talking to her at all about recent events, see as example Chrissie's parentage and Lawrence's shooting, so that of course has allowed Robert in one of his evil plots that never work to get in first and whisper in Rebbeca ears his version of events and won her over

She will probably turn out to be very nice if a bit naive.

3) Chrissie sometimes it help to tell the truth and not always lie, still she got the better of dumb as bricks Priya.

4) Is Lachlan now an Olympic level heavyweight weightlifter he certainly has the body for it.

5) At Death Trap farm Dr StrangeEmma has her bond villan cat and has settled James into a mixture of the set of of Misery and Great Expectations bedroom of miss haversham.

6) Quick James hobble away from Dr StangeEmma

7) Rakesh - are we getting another death by the end of the week? will he really kill himself and why the Heck didn't he tell Dumb as Bricks Priya evertything when she asked.

8) If anyone should take up Knitting in the village its Jai, failed miserably as a hardman.

9) Well done Ashley you made a speech off camera

10 Shut up Doug.

11) You two Dull Dan

12) Err Paddy coming in to the Woolpack and screaming at Rhona isn't helping your case with her that your not some kind of creepy stalker.”

1 - Yep, actually quite a realistic response for them to be scared

2 - Like the look of her and EvilRobert is always good value

3 - Not difficult to get the better of Priya to be honest

5 - Deathtrap Farm DrStrangeEmma

6 - She'll have him shackled to the bedpost soon

7 - He's had plenty of chance to talk to her

8 - Awww - Jai the would be hardman bless him

9 - At least we didn't have to listen

10&11 - Yep.

12 - I liked that scene actually

Afternoon Kwynne - last visit for a week or so - enjoy next week everyone - look forward to discussing when I get back!

Don't know how they would manage living in Irlam where there is a Heliport at Barton Airport at the edge of town, so there are helicopters flying overhead where I live all day.”

Are you being nasty about My Lovely Doug again?

I missed the helicopter, tbh, but I've enjoyed Rebecca so far.

Not funny

All of the UK would be in mourning if Aaron left and Emmerdale's ratings would plummet

It did more than manage, it was probably the best it's been in a long time.

We had Cameron and Declan to keep us warm.

Ah, good times. Seriously good times.

Yes, and what happened when Aaron returned, Robbie was maliciously killed off and Finn was relegated to background gay - destroying half of the appeal of the soap (for me anyway).

Robbie and Finn would never have been able to garner half the fandom that Robron has.

That's fine, I care little for fandoms, in fact I find the whole idea of them rather pathetic.
Unable to discuss things with any rationality while hiding behind a banner syaing "fandom" is weak willed and nonsensical.
Since when is having a different opinion on something a bad thing? I have had many a discussion with you about certain characters. I can quite accept everything you have to say.

I wasn't even actually alluding to the potential romance between Finn & Robbie when I mentioned them, though they had way more sexual chemistry than Robron in scenes where they probably were not even supposed to.

Didn't the ratings improve the last time he left?

ROBBBBBBBBBBBIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Aw man, I thought of you when Megan was looking at his photo after Holly died the other night.

Our sarcastic wee prince. *SNIFF*

We've been through some dark times. I'd draw a veil over almost everything ED threw out from about summer 2015 to summer 2016 to be honest. Things are so much better now though. Pierce. Moira. Emma. Rebecca. The only way is up.

I came back! So they definitely went up by one.

You can probably put a lot of that down to the Awesome Cameron effect.

Indeed

The Cameron era will never be bettered and especially not under Hollyoaks head

I didn't mean to offend you and you are entitled to your opinion. Robbie and Finn did have chemistry but with Finn's stories following that made it clear that Finn should not be a front burner character. I do agree with you about Robron though. They had great chemistry in the beginning but now they act just like a couple of friends. Aaron and Robert are great characters individually but when they are together they bring each other down.....just like Cain and Charity.

Aww.

He was so brilliant. I will never forget his heroic deth, may Mark be forever grateful that he saved his HBIC.

I think Emmerdale is on the up, at last, so long as the *shudder* "comedy" does not come back!

You did not offend me Mark, I apologise if it came across that way.
I don't by any means think Finn should be a front burner character, I think he should get more than horrible comedy stories with Jimmy and his old HIV - positive boyfriend which was horrible. It's the material given that affects him as a character, when given good stuff he delivers and I would like the show to throw him a bone once in a while.

Anyway, everything is cool between us, you did not offend me and you never have.

Robbie didn't save the HBIC, she saved herself

I think the comedy scenes need to stop all together, McLeod has proven he can't write comedy.
