They've won every "Best Soap" award going since this fandom got going.

I think that tells you everything you need to know

What's funny about a cat dying?”

Cuz it was then that James realized Moira was trying to poison him.

Well nothing per se, obviously, but in this case it was funny, to me at least, because James had just realised his wife was apparently trying to murder him, asked her wth was going on and she just kept wittering on about there being a dead cat in the bedroom.

Obviously she just wanted to buy herself some time, but yes I have to admit I laughed my socks off at that scene.

I knew I wasn't the only one who thought that was funny

3. Yes she was.

4. That was hilarious

5. Agreed she looked a million times better. Expect Carly to reveal a similar new hair color in a few weeks.

6. I'm not sold on Rebecca she is kind of weird and the actress needs vocal lessons.

7. Please, Rebecca isn't even that attractive, Chrissie is better looking than her. And Aaron is so sexy, Robert should only leave Aaron if he can seduce Ross or Pete.

8. You just love hating on Aaron.

9. Because she is a dumb bitch.

Also I noticed something that would go in the Emmerdale SOR thread if there was one. Laclhlan and Rebecca were going to play Uncharted 4 togehter, that is a one player game as most games on PS4 are and its not very violent, you do shoot and punch people but compared to a lot of other games its pretty tame.

I love the Wasps idea. I think that can be the next big stunt, at the Robron wedding there could be an attack of wasps infected with a killer virus and the village will have to be quarantined.”

I thought it was a nice funeral. Holly wasn't t religious and she was quite a dreamy, hippy, artistic type. It suited her to have something informal. I wasn't so convinced about dragging her out of a van though. I guess she's lucky she didn't t get the Diddy Diner or a trailer at the back of the tractor

It may be hard to believe but some people think it is the best soap

LOL @ the Diddy Diner

I thought it was too little but I guess the writers wanted to save the big funeral for whoever dies next week.

Was it just me or was Robert checking Rebecca out when she left the pub?

To be fair, I vote it Best Soap every year, I just disregard all of the Robert & Aaron stuff when considering. Pretend it's not happening.

I'm sure TPTB do not think it is a coincidence that they started winning awards at the same time that the fandom got really vocal, they didn't win when the show was actually more entertaining so why would it win now if not for Robron?

I liked her funeral too, though I wondered where they were burying her. Is she not to have a headstone? Is that why she wasn't buried in the graveyard? Nice to see all the Barton's together, aside from Emma and James, obviously.

For another matter, why are none of the Barton family getting buried in the village cemetary? John was cremated, Holly was buried in the woods. Sure they may not be religious but I'm sure others have been buried who are also not religious.

I used to think you were.............but the fact that you can't spell your own name made me a bit suspicious.

The way I read it the fact that since Robron got together and the shows won lots of awards telling us all we need to know suggests that Robron fans are the only ones who think its the best soap

Well I think its the best And I have a violent hatred of Robron and the name Robron itself.

There's a lot of people who think it's best soap. But the point is, fandoms have very enthusiastic (ahem, multiple voting to the point of obsession) voters. So they can be enough to make the difference when it's close.

My guess would be that's definitely what we're meant to think (whether it's actually true I'm expecting we'll find out tonight.........)

Don't like it either, or any portmanteau names if I'm honest (although I am a fan of the pairing)

The representation of animals in soaps as yet again poorly shown, following the sudden death of Cat Barton.

What's funny about someone being poisoned? I really don't get what was humorous about that scene - I thought it was really sad.

Naw, i thought it was hilarious but i've always had that type of sense of humor. One of my favorite childhood movies was Addams Family Values where Fester's wife spent the entire movie trying to kill him

I hate portmanteau names! Oof, they make me cringe now. But there's no other way to describe Wobwon, because they have no reason to exist outside the fandom that's created them. There's no real relationship. They've always been fanfiction, bolted together from the Girl's Book of Fake Gays. So Wobwon is what they are.

Poor old moggie

It was definitely brown bread.

That deceased moggie would have made a handy doorstop; or a draught excluder, or something..

I didn't even know that cat had a name. I thought it was just some stray wondering around Death Trap Farm.

That is so true. That's the most accurate thing I've ever read.
Especially when the so-called fans are threatening to never watch again if anything happens to either character.

Wasn't there a chicken who 'bought the farm' a year or so back too? Not to mention PsychoBelle's very small horse.

ED should make it more like real life where no animal ever dies ever.

It didn't. Moggie is the term for a cat that has no pedigree.
