This would be setting up for the future though, we'd have Moses vs Baby Robron 20 years from now.

Thanks. Maybe then it could lead to me writing for the show...however I couldn't write dialogue. I'd have all the characters speaking like they're from the US.

Goodness me - after all the buzz & excitement from last week about how ED was the best soap around - why has it all gone quiet tonight.

Where are the lengthy discussions about the ramifications of the best stunt ever on a soap?
Where are the posts about how great the aftermath is?
Where are the musings of what the long-term effect will be for the characters involved.

Where are the comments explaining how Lachlan's head wound healed so quickly

Its like someone farted and everyone has left the building

Not to worry - the voting has closed for the NTA's now - I guess it doesn't matter anymore

I think the aftermath has been pretty good, well what we're ve seen of it - it's s a bit early to judge, based on only one episode, but I found tonight's s episode very enjoyable. However I predict:
Several people will be blamed for James' death before the Barton Boy Detectives jump on their bikes, drink their Ginger Ale and solve the case;
Ashley will go through a traumatic and highly emotionally charged trial;
Rhona will be debilitated long enough for Pierce to exert his malign and controlling influence, trapping her like a fly in a spider' s web before Paddy dashes to the rescue;
Robron will just continue being Robron but even more sickly!

How's s that for you?

Thought it was pretty good last night actually - sometimes it's difficult to get the right tone immediately after a special week but they got it about right.

Loved Ross "Who's died?".... - if only he'd known before asking

I'm really looking forward to how all this pans out - eventually surely somebody must find Emma's dress and wonder about the blood. Her trying to frame Cain was a masterstroke. I love how she's completely unhinged in one minute and then carefully forming plans the next - she's terrific.

They moved Robert and Aaron on - I like that group that's forming with the two of them and Victoria and Adam - they all work well together.

And I liked the Ashley stuff as well - will he eventually recall what happened - who knows, but at least the police findings are consistent with what he told them about somebody falling off the bridge.

So all good solid stuff starting to build the storylines for the next few weeks.

I did love Lawrence's tone when he said 'Robert got off unscathed' - John Bowe is one of my favourite actors in ED at the minute and I'm glad that it looks as though we will get some more White storylines as I worried that he would fade into the background with the Ronnie reveal done and dusted.

Oddly enough people in Emmerdale only ask lightheartedly who has died when someone actually has died.

Analysis of Emmerdale Characterrs

1) Aaron - he has hair like a toilet brush

2) Robshite - this marriage thing is going to be a boring nightmare of endless crap and misery isn't he, given that Aaron manage to make even a proposal sound like the most miserable thing in the world.

3) Robert - Away from Crybabies he is very good, like him with the lovely Rebecca and loyal to his brother suddenly

4) Victoria a bright light on the episode, why has she suddenly started wearing leather jackets though.

5) Emma best character in Emmerdale currently - loved her brilliant but bonkers idea for blaming James death on Cain

6) Dross - the only time anyone asks who has died in jest is when someone actually has died. so how many innocent people are going to be put in coma's before he finds out Cain didn't do it.?

7) Shut up boring Pete

8) So is Chrissie holding this surprise party in the woolpack where there will be shocking revelations a fight and makeups like always

9) Rebecca - best new character in ages

10) So the police want to charge Ashley do they, whats the point of that then?

11) Gabby - where the eff is Gabby.?

1 - Yep - you can see why he gels it so much! For a minute I thought it was Adam in the bed....

2 - You're not a fan then...?

3 - He is - really liking his and Vic's relationship

4 - But her hair is much better now she's gone back natural

5 - She's brilliant - absolutely stark raving bonkers - but brilliant

6 - Yep - how long before he and Cain come to blows?

7 - Somebody has to fill James' shoes as the most un-charismatic character in the show and Pete has a head start on most of the rest

8 - Yep - has to be - all the best parties end up in a fight at the Wollie

9 - I'm liking her very much - hope she sticks around

10 - They have to tick their clear up boxes somehow - this is an easy one for them

11 - I wondered that too - will she be back with yet another head in a bit perhaps?

Surely poor Ash would be considered unfit to plead so no point charging him anyway?

In real life absolutely - but this is Soapland, so whatever drives the storylines is fair game I guess....

that would be for the CPS to decide, not the police. When a friend of mine who was seriously ill at the time hot accused of something she had no memory of, it was the Procurator Fiscal who decided whether to prosecute or not. Luckily for her they dropped it like a hot potato.

It's not uncommon for the CPS to drop a case of an ill accused. It's not in the public interest to spend money on a trial ect if the person is going to die early in conviction anyway.

Also, I mentioned this is another thread, if someone doesn't know what they are doing is legally wrong at the time of an offence, then they can be declared insane under law. Wasn't it said last night that Ashley didn't know he was committing an offence?

Yes, that was what I meant really - I mean any fool (even a Hotton police officer) could see that he's mentally incompetent and the CPS would not proceed, therefore no point in them bothering to charge him. A load of paperwork for nothing.

1. There is nothing wrong with Aaron's hair

2. The marriage could be interesting if the writers continue to play up the drama between the two.

3. I'm sure Robert will be smashing Rebecca before 2017 and Robert has no loyalty to Andy he just wants Revenge on Chrissie.

4. LOL you're funny. I didn't even realize she was in the episode

5. I wouldn't go that far but Emma is good.

6. Ross only puts senior citizens in comas so I think everyone should be safe...unless Emma tries to place the blame or Pearl or Sandy

7. Pete is less boring than your girl Victoria

9. I think Rebecca is kind of meh.

10. the cop said they could charge Ashley, not that they wanted to.

11. She is incubating, she will return next year SOARS'ed to a 25 year old
