BIB 1: What's the point, all it would show is an image of the Home Farm safe and Knobert's pants where her brain should be, as all she thinks of is how she can get into them both.

BIB2: Was she spitting angry at Slugden being famed or was she just steaming that she was completely unaware for months and had completely missed a huge chunk of juicy gossip to spread?

BIB3: Easy. 2 for Pete, 2 for Ross, 2 for Finn, and 1 for Emma. Give Adumb a sheep with patches painted on it and tell him it's a rare baa cow specially for him, he'll never notice:D.
Brilliant Collie ....

The latter in relation to Diane i'd say

LOL no worries, I don't know my geography very well outside of the US. Do you remember how everyone on here was shocked that I didn't know that Jersey was country and not just a short name for the state New Jersey? that discussion went on a quite a while.
Jersey isn't a country. Not an independent one anyway. It's controlled by the UK. Think of it as our Puerto Rico.

It's only classed as self-governing to enable the wealthy to keep their riches there!

Wait, so the whole of central and South America isn't the same country? But they all speak that weird version of Spanish!

Next you'll be telling me that everywhere East of Germany isn't one big country
Quite a lot down there speak Portuguese (eg Brazil), and quite a few native languages are still going. We mustn't forget the Welsh speakers of Patagonia either!?

Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney & Sark are the last remnants of the Dutchy of Normandy still in UK hands.

They are self governing Crown dependancies, with the UK handling foreign affairs for them. They are not part of the UK. Like the Crown dependancy of the Isle of Man, which has the same status, they have never been members of the EU.

Hang on Kerry jumped on him not the other way round.
Agreed. She didn't so much give consent as insist on it.
Had Dross been a considerate gentleman, he would have taken account of her distressed condition, declined politely and made sure that she reached her destination safely. But self serving oik that he is, he just saw a chance to capitalise on Kerry's state to pleasure himself and win a bet with Pete - a real charmer!

Implying Portuguese isn't a dialect of Spanish

Well democracy is alive and well in the US, we just learned after last night that the rural racists are very large portion of the country. They said that the rural vote came out in record numbers, Trumps message of hate spoke to them.

I agree

And I have feeling I'll be looking for another country to call home so if any of you are willing to put me up for awhile let me know
Was it not Churchill who said that democracy is the worst possible form of government, save only for all the other systems that have been tried from time to time.

In the UK, the truism is that governments lose elections, oppositions don't win them. Is it the same in the US?

I don't recall Kerry saying 'no' though, mind I doubt the word is even in her vocabulary! Anyway why shouldn't it have been Ross, given she went out with the sole intention of getting herself impaled on someone's pole, it may as well have been his.

Well I think the opposition certainly won last night.

Ross and Kerry are both thots. The are competing for the title of Emmerdale's biggest hoe, I think Ross might win with his comment that he had a foursome last night.

IDK, I'd like to believe that since I was a huge Bernie Sanders supporter but when they started talking about how that rural vote was coming in record numbers it showed that Trump's message of racism and hate had worked and I don't think anyone not even Obama could have beaten that. This country is very racially divided, its probably the worst its been since civil rights.

Yeah yeah yeah

Change the goalposts when your tired argument about kerry being drunkenly taken advantage of has been debunked

Not, neccesarily. The Republicans will now run all three areas of government and the Democrats haven't won three times on the trot since the 1940s.

It's nowhere near as tired, or as debunked, as your, and other's, arguments about Aaron crying all the time!?

If you think jokes are serious then that's unfortunate

It's not that Aaron cries constantly, but let's just say the Emmerdale river never droughts. Coincidence?

A question for Mark, our man at the front!

When the delightful Donald is inaugurated, is it true that they are going to rename Washington as Trumpington?

BTW. You are always welcome over here, would make a change to have a refugee from the US of A!
How about Trumpton? That' s about the Donald's intellectual level

I' m looking forward to the Donald's s first meeting with Nicola Sturgeon. I can only picture it as like ' The Thick of It's but politer in her side and dumber on his

I wonder what the socially acceptable version of ' You're re a f****ing omnishambles' and ' Shut it, Love Actually!' is Will Nicola depart the meeting with a heartfelt ' f&&&ty bye!'?

Heck all politicians should avoid a meeting with him. They should just send Peter Capaldi and the guy that plays Jamie. In character, of course

You can tell that I gave up watching the election programmes and started on The Thick of It and In the Loop YouTube clips instead, can't t you?

That bet was horrible! Typical Dross but I expected better of Pete.

Well said, sorcha!

Really drags the threads down, that's for sure.
