She lives with the boys now. She might own it still though? .
This is one of my biggest bugbears at the minute, we can see just how small the cottage is from the downstairs. Are we to belivie there is 4 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs?. 3 bedrooms and a bathroom is fairly unrealistic unless they're like them Japanese hotel rooms that are similar to a mortuary.

The only storyline Im actually enjoying at the moment is the Bartons. Its nice to see Finn get his own storyline, and Emma is just brilliant. Although Moira and Pete kissing again is just all sorts of wrong, I don't care if they arent blood related.

Agree, the Barton stuff is good, including Cain and Moira in that.

There isn't much else that's holding my attention right now. Maybe Pierce and Rhona. And Ashley, of course.

Maybe there's a secret attic room, where Finn sleeps. Or Emma since she's the smallest.

The Barton's are carrying the show right now.

And a good thing too, they are some of the best characters in my opinion. And it won't last long, with Dingle's being front and centre come the new year.

Peirce and Rhona and Ashley's are all too sporadic. Are couple of episodes here and there doesn't cut it - especially with what Rhona's is supposed to build up to, I know it's a sensitive storyline that requires a slow build, but a bit more of an on screen slow build would work better for me.

Loving the White's too.

The stuff with Cain,Moira, Emma and Finn is good. Not that taken by the rest at the moment.

Im actually looking forward to Debbie coming back aswell, aslong as Debbie/Ross doesn't happen again. They work well together as mates who can't really stand eachother, not as a couple.

I'm really not looking forward to the Dingles at Christmas though. Lisa will be a mug if she takes Zak back, Belle just bores me, and the less said about Aaron and the once brilliant Robert the better.

I expect that Dross, Finn & Emma all sleep in the attic, hanging upside down from the rafters by their toes.

That leaves plenty of room on the first floor for Pete & Leyla.

I doubt Ross ever sleeps in his own bed if you know what I mean.

I quite like the Whites' stuff, specially Ronnie and his trips to Harrogate with Lawrence. I'm just relieved Chrissie and Rebecca have stopped plotting unconvincingly against each other, and started teaming up. They both have lovely hair, they can be awesome together. We haven't had awesome sisters since Val and Diane. (My Val ).

Ross has been a trillion times better recently, without She Who May Not Be Named. I'm really enjoying him again (in every way, obviously ).

No, I'm not taken with the Dingles any more really. I prefer Lisa on her own. Belle is usually good, specially with Cain, but her whole story has been really lacklustre for some reason. I still like Cain and Charity (not together, but apart), and I don't even mind Sam (his conversation with Ronnie was really sweet this week, and I like him as friends with Megan when they show it), but I really don't care for any of the other Dingles now.

Do you think so? I'm not so sure. The evidence seems to suggest that he's a more of a 'wham bam thank you mam' type, post Donna & Debbie. And he's nearly always at home breakfast time!

I used to enjoy the scenes they had together before the affair thing, like after Donna died, and when she was with him at Donnas grave. I always thought that they had decent banter together but it just didn't work romantically, that type of chemistry was lacking massively. The thing that worries me is that Ross hasnt been paired with anyone, and shes due back soon, so its not looking good.

Possibly, but most of his recent activity seems to be in the back of his taxi, not conducive to a night's sleep. And, as I edited into my previous post, he always seems to be at home for breakfast!

He just likes to have some family time, even though they all treat him like shit, infact Pete is probably the closest to him now. I keep forgetting that Ross has Moses to look after aswell, I don't think I've ever seen Charity alone with Moses yet.

I think that Charity has forgotten about Moses altogether! She only remembers Noah because he happens to be living under he same roof!

Shes probably the worst mum in Emmerdale history. Shes even worse than Emma, and she tried to kill one of her kids.

I was reminded of an episode of Emmerdale from ca Autumn 1998 by a Hollyoaks scene yesterday. Peri came back from Angela's unannounced and remarked "Surprise" as she entered. In Emmerdale Vic, Scott & Donna were due to go away for a night but (for some reason that escapes me) they came back that evening. They entered the living room where they knew Viv would be and remarked "Surprise". It was a surprise allright - if that's the right word. They walked in on Viv & Terry snogging!

A bit late to the party here, but I love Ronnie. He's a solid, thoroughly nice guy, but not weak or a pushover. He's far too good for Larry, frankly. John McArdle is great, the best addition to the cast in a very long time. I can see trouble at t'mill ahead, though, if and when Larry pops his clogs. Who will inherit all his worldly goods?

Ronnie might be the least stereotyped gay man in any soap ever.

Yes, he's just a nice man who happens to be gay.

And for once, all credit to Corrie for their best line all year, when Eileen wanted son Todd to help her choose her wedding dress.
"I'm not your daughter, Mam - I'm just gay".

Yes, that was my favourite line. We applauded in my living room.

Yep, from the bits I've seen, they've done a cracking good job of not making him "gay" - if that makes sense?
Mind, I also think that Aaron bucks the general trend as well, as does Finn. And I've said before that the fact they have Robert as an openly bisexual male is a real achievement for a soap when it comes to representing the LGBTQ community.

Seems the UK is catching up with elsewhere around the world in its representation

Ronnie's lovely. I wish he could take over Home Farm and kick up the Whites out
