No, I'd rather her be with someone else, I think he and Frank could work.
Robert and Frank would be the hottest couple to ever grace the streets of Yorkshire. Can you imagine the fandom that'd arise from that?

Agree with this - there was so much potential in this storyline - but it all became about bringing Tracey into the fold.

And now they're doing the same with Frank.

I want Eric to contact one of his old dodgy contacts and find the dirt on him and expose him and get rid and he can take his daughter with him (not Vanessa, she can stay).
Weird isn't it? I don't like thinking stuff like this, but honestly, that actress must be well in with the storyliners or Mcleod or something, it;s the only explanation for Tracy's otherwise inexplicable ubiquity. (Don't try saying that out loud. ).

I think that's what KO had in mind or at least to some extent but the new producer changed that and made it all about Tracy and her "funny and romantic" relationship with David. I remember that Leyla was a big part of David's storyline in the beginning but once the new producer took over she disappeared and Tracy took over.

Tracy doesn't work, her relationship with David doesn't work and making her a lead character doesn't work!

Get rid!
Yes, please do. I honestly wouldn't even notice. Except David would suddenly get more interesting again.

Ross will shack up with Rebecca and Chrissie, and steal home farm from Lawrence. You heard it here first.
THREESOME! Ross sandwich. Awesome.

plot twist- Robert has been working secretly with Ross to get home farm, so he ditches Aaron (Aaron cries). Robert then gets together with Rebecca, Ross with Chrissie, they then turn Home Farm into a criminal empire and live happily after. What do you think?
That's even better. So good I could cry.

This could be fun, Aaron and Debbie could hook up as incest has never been an issue for the Dingles ( and switching sexuality has never been an issue for the sake of plot in the dales )and become the worlds most miserable couple, imagine them doing one of them family Christmas cards of themselves as the picture

Problem is Maxine Alderton would then use her episode to write that it was all a trick and Robert was only stealing home farm for him and Aaron and has double crossed Ross and Bex and rather than take revenge Ross will watch on wistfully declaring " I hope I find love like that one day" as the fan base squeals what an amazing "talent" Maxine is.

Cruel. But true.

Glad you like the ideas, they should really hire me as a writer.

Well you'd certainly spice things up a bit.

Not totally sure the ED audience is ready for an incestuous threesome in Home Farm. But then Charity slept with Chris and Zoe, so ... give it a whirl.

1. It could be possible, I know that when they start to get really bad they forget to eat because they think they don't realize they are hungry so they could not feel pain in as well.

2. Laurel needs to put Ashley in a nursing home or she is going to end up in trouble for abuse.

3. Is this some right of passage that every UK soap teen must be bullied before reaching adulthood?

4. Aaron had no tears in his eyes

7. Vanessa and Leyla should focus on getting rid of more annoying characters like Kerry, Tracy, Doug and Wendy.

10. Moira is really pissing me off, I wouldn't be mad if you started killing her off

Next time you kill Frank off you should incorporate the Moldvian Massacre from Dynasty into it
3. Not just soap teens, it's all too prevalent in real life too. I was bullied in both junior school and comprehensive school - and that was in the 1970s and 1980s.

Yeah its prevalent here too, but the number of bullying stories I've seen on soaps is ridiculous I've seen Gabby, Jacob and Lachlan on Emmerdale, Simon, Faye and Bethany on Corrie and Jade on Hollyoaks all get bullied. While its an important issue to cover they are beating it with a dead horse.

Well hopefully at some point Aaron would leave him and seduce Adam
Then Victoria can happily kill him?

We're baaaacckkkk!!!!

I've just come on to demand that Steve the Parrot becomes a regular on the show. Ideally he could replace Waaaron - he's much more interesting.

Oh, we're back!

I don't have anything to say, and I don't know who Steve the Parrot is, but I just wanted to say hello.

I thought they were changing the emojis and getting rid of cat dog? Looks the same to me.

This is only stage one.

I worked on a migration team before but it was a company merger so it was a bit different but there were 3 migrations

I just read the post up top. I'll keep using cat dog while I can, then.

We're all migrants, now. Tis the human condition.

Yes, but I like to try and keep this thread clean, unlike t'Daily.

I would quite like to see Steve the parrot as a permanent character (as long as we don't have to suffer Lydia), but not instead of Aaron. Aaron would be way off the bottom of any list of mine of those characters to get the bird!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one could ever replace Aaron he is Emmerdale's GOAT and no I don't mean the animal.

Also on One Life to Live for a couple years Todd used to have a parrot that he would talk to, it was pretty funny. I was sad when they got rid of the parrot.

Perhaps because he is, actually, a cockatoo!

He belongs to Mad Lydia from the Bereavement Group who has now got her claws into Paddy. She and Steve apparently have long conversations together...............but only in her head. Steve just looks a bit bemused and bewildered.
