With the exception of Finn, the Bartons are almost as bad as the Dingles, double standards and all. They just hide it behind a more respectable facade

Even Stevie Wonder saw that one coming. Nicola and Jimmy need to go ASAP , they are like a poorly written annoying version of Sally and Tim on Corrie. 2. I actually I care, I want them two split up so we don't have to witness any more scenes like that. 3. Kerry wasn't that bad compared to Nicola. But why did she start wearing the neck brace again? ![]() 4. She is turning into a real DIngle ![]() 6. Joanie was bad, Lisa was great as always. So with Joanie moving to Manchester can we assume she is going to see her son Daniel in Weatherfield?7. I bet there is more to this story than just Ronnie buying a tractor. |

I didn't think Joanie was bad. She's been shat on by the Dingles like everyone is sooner or later! If anything, I think Joanie has shown herself to be a pleasant and dignified lady, far too good for Zak. I like Nicola and Jimmy individually, but hate them together. However good an actress Nicola Wheeler is (and she really is), Nicola King is a bully right now and it's not funny, it's actually uncomfortable to watch and in the realms of abusive. Also, they clearly have a problem with impressive-acting Elliot and non-acting Angel as well. Quote:
Kasim will probably turn out to be Finn's half brother or something

But instead, this unbelievably tedious toxic not very merry go round. |

6. Well I hope her Corrie character is more tolerable than Joanie.

Oh dear, you've gone over to the dark side. ![]() A robron wedding just makes me laugh Roberts speech- "Well it all started when I blackmailed him into robbing the home I was living in. Then I killed his mums best mate, but that's no biggie, we're all good now. Oh yeah, how could I forget? I shot his step dad, and also tried to bury him alive, that was before I chained Aaron to a radiator and threatened him with a gun. No, not in the kinky way, I just went a bit mad you see." (looks over to Aaron... he's sobbing) |

The kind of double wedding where a helicopter falls on it, killing all parties? I'd be up for that. ![]() Quote:
Kasim and Finn are just the epitome of awful, I hit mute/fastforward as soon as they come on screen. Kasim is just abysmal and can't act for toffee. Stiff, awkward Finn needs someone who is relaxed and funloving as a boyfriend - not someone even stiffer and more awkward than he is! It really makes you wonder why Emmerdale went to all of the effort having Kasim involved in the car crash, Finn falling for him etc. And the end result is this dreck?

![]() I don't think Kasim's that bad as an actor! He was OK in the only decent scene he's been given, where he talked about his family. The writing generally for Kasim and Finn has been utter, utter pants, though. More sappy Disneyfied nonsense. |

He's telling Finn about his past in one scene, the next Finn is coming on too strong and he's freaked out, the next Finn backs off and he's annoyed. Besides, he genuinely wanted to hang out with Emma and her turkey stew. Something is clearly wrong with this lad.

They've rushed the Kasim/Finn thing, its really not working at the moment. I think Emma will probably bump Kasim off soon...

She is great and I love her with Paddy. I'd love it if we had a double wedding Chaddy and Robron
