Why on earth would Moira side with HollyWood? She knows Cain wouldn't do anything like that and that her delightful daughter is a scheming, conniving liar of epic proportions who will say anything to get her own way and shouldn't be trusted. If she came limping up the road looking like she'd been in a fight with a briar bush missing her trousers and knickers and bawling like a baby I wouldn't believe a single word she says. She could tell me the time and I'd double check my watch to be sure. She's as rotten as the floor Katie fell through.

I think Moira should know both her husband and her daughter well enough to know which was the more likely to lie about that - and it wouldn't be her husband!

I get your point, but Moira already didn't want to believe Holly was back on drugs or that she was up to no good when she returned so it wouldn't be a stretch for her to believe Holly if she did claim that Cain raped her.

Analysis of Emmerdale Stoylines

1)Lawence being found out and having a convenient heartache

2) Lawrence probably not being Chrissie's father - rather convenient he had that heart attack just as he looked at pictures and note proving he wasn't Chriisie's father and leaving it out for her to see.

5) The Possibly and definitely dying Fathers club - founding members Jaycuuubb and Gabby on the agenda , drinking, snogging and talking about their fathers, then stumbling off home to rage at the world if you are gabby and get all maudling if you are Jaycuub

7) Victoria and her Hair give Robert a glass of beer in a very strange place because Robert is ranting and raving about not getting what's due to him (whatever that is), how he hates Lawrence and hates the relationship of his ex wife and his brother

8) Robert looks at his teeth while - Lawrence is stricken. First he had a big row with low over the subject included in Part 7) then he does nothing to help Lawrence and looks at his teeth, maybe one of his filling have fallen out.

9) Belle is allergic to Smelly stuff and given how much she uses she must pong something awful

10) Belle finds out about Dr Baileys secret and uses it to cover her embarrassment over being so smelly

I can see that some people might think that, but I also think that in the way they portray in particular her relationship with both Robert and Andy, they strike just the right note.

To them, she will always be their 'little' sister and to her she will always be able to tell them things/say things that nobody else would get away with.

2. That note Chrissie found was not from Mrs. White to one of her side pieces it was a note to Lawrence from a guy that was in love with him. That new guy coming on will be a former lover of Lawrence.

I don't think Lawrence would do that. He's so repressed he would like to pretend it never happened, I don't think the passion would be reignited. His aversion therapy in prison did a number on him.

Yeah you could be right, but Robert did believe that Lawrence wanted him so maybe he would go off with a man if given the opportunity. Plus if that letter was to Lawrence it seemed like they were in love so I think he would dump Bernice if he felt he could have true happiness with this guy.

Well if was 1980 then the alleged affair would have happened after his prison stint. So if he still felt that way about men then, then there's no reason why he shouldn't now.

Do you believe Chrissie has a different father now though? If this man is actually Lawrence's lover and not (can't remember Chrissie's mothers name) want to say Evelyn's then could Lawrence have been her biological father all along.

I personally would prefer that outcome, though I can understand why Chrissie may not want that right now after what Lawrence just did.

The way they've played this story it makes little sense that Lawrence would be Chrissie's bio father. If he did have sex with his wife why did he make the open marriage arrangements?

Also if I have to guess I bet Lawrence never did anything sexual with this guy, they probably had strong feelings for each other but Lawrence was too afraid to act on them because of what he has been through.

I still think Lawrence is Chrissie's biological Dad. He sounded pretty sincere last night, I thought. It was like he was frustrated that she'd got the wrong end of the stick, but couldn't explain to her what it was actually all about.

I'm looking forward to finally finding out about Lawrence's past, could be really good.

You could be right and Lawrence is her bio dad but I don't think it fits with what we've been told about Lawrence. If he had sex with Mrs. White, why did he allow the open marriage and why does he refuse to have sex with Bernice? If they do make Lawrence her bio dad, these questions will need to be answered.

Agree it's a bit hazy. But I guess that they could have had sex just purely to have a kid. Or maybe they used the old turkey baster. Maybe he just really wanted to be a Dad, and was prepared to do whatever it took. He looked in raptures on that photo.
