Police confession, and stop acting like a victim
He is a victim of Robert's schemes. But if you think Andy needs to confess to the police what about Robert, Aaron, Cain, Ross, and Lawrence? All of them have committed crimes that they weren't arrested for.

How was Robert responsible for Andy beating jo?

Also the others may have committed crimes but Andy acts like he's never done anything wrong.

They don't act like perpetual victims, except Aaron. The reality is Andy lost his kids because of his own murderous actions

He wasn't directly responsible for Andy beating Jo but I think Andy's issues with Jo stemmed from the Robert/Katie affair. Andy doesn't come across tome as if he's done nothing wrong, I think he's very humble and has admitted his mistakes in life. He an all around good guy.

Exactly, if he's really sorry for what he did to Jo why not confess and give her justice, he's moved on but I bet she hasn't. Getting beaten for months by your husband is a life sentence in a lot of ways. The feud with Robert is as much his fault he killed his mum and then pretty much usurped his place In the family

Bollocks. Robert is not responsible for him beating jo. If that was the case Katie eould also be responsible.

I'm not holding Robert personally responsible for it I'm just saying that the affair played a role in it.

I do, to the point it's bordering on a personality disorder
Perhaps you ought to stop watching it for a while if he bothers you that much.

Which had nothing to do with Pete but Andy was still going to kill him, as long as he didn't have to go to prison , but apperntly he's still a good guy?

Mark give up, posters on here will forgive anything except beating your wife, remember the outrage that Murderer & wannabe rapist Carl King was killed off? Just as well he never hit his wife then he would really be a bad un.

I grew up in a house with a violent father, to bo us kids and my mother, but even I accept people can change and Andy has done all he can to do so, until Robert killed his wife it had been years since he had any violent outbursts, but that doesn't matter as people will never stop bringing up Jo

Andy wasn't thinking straight and if you remember correctly he checked himself into a mental hospital to get help after he agreed to the deal told Ross he couldn't go through with the deal. Andy does do bad things but he always shows remorse for his actions.

no he checked himself in as his alibi for Robert's shooting, he was in a pit of anger and despair yes but that wasn't why he went, though it probably helped anyway

The issue for me is Andy acts like he's a good guy when he's done so horrible stuff

At least the others don't pretend to be angels.

Vanessa was back on her "Vanessa knows best" act yesterday. She seems oblivious to how Rhona & Pierce both have a similar feeling of grief surrounding Paddy & Tess's affair. It is of course worse for Pierce as he can never ask Tess how the affair arose. She also seems indifferent to how Rhona is the easiest person for Pierce to lean on, as it were.

Analysis of Emmerdale characters.

Not exactly an episode, we are no doubt in the difficult changeover period between producers on screen.

1) Moira you prize moron, falling for Cain's trick of leaving his phone around for you to steal/ look at while looking for Debbie once was bad enough but to fall for it twice is just idiotic. So stop listening to Andy and Ross and just give up.

2)Cain tricked Moira again and wasn't at all hypocritical about it.

3) Andy why don't you tell Cain the real reason you were beaten up instead of whining about it, and how soon before you start hitting Chriisie.

4) Liv and Gabby met and formed an alliance while shopping, be afraid world very afraid.

5) Robert when teenage girls get the better of you maybe its time to get out of the Robron business.

Kwynne yawn at this point.

6) The pierce seduces Rhona was dull

7) As was the phone call between The Idiot and the Moron

8) The Moron and Nessa were concerned about Rhona possibly rightly

and thats it really a whole load of apathetic nothingness.

Vanessa's actions are purely selfish, she was hoping Paddy's absence would lead to her and Rhonna finally having some lesbian sex.

The O'Dricals from Corrie weren't involved in this were they?

Oh pish what Rubbish, she was never really a lesbian and she's just concerned her fragile friend isn't being taken in by the grief stricken weak minded Pierce and get hurt again. And not earn his wrath when he finds out it was her ex boyfriend who dun Tess in.
