I feel your pain Andy before Christmas they had to close the Forth Road Bridge for emergency repairs. It had to be although I live 20 miles from the bridge there were tailbacks and traffic chaos here because people were going miles out of their way to cross at the local bridges. It went on for about 3 weeks - it was awful getting to and from work.

Well, I don't know about that , but the use of the word 'die' in the imperative 30 times in a single post does seem to be somewhat obsessive. Indeed, is it not disconcerting, alarming even?! I'm not at all sure who I'd rather not meet in a dark alleyway - Kwynne or Aaron!

Yes I remember reading that in the news. Recently that bridge in Lamington collapsed, so getting from Cumbria to Scotland is a nightmare of constant and unpredictable cancellations at the moment.

Kwynne often has chocolate cake to spare, so I'd choose him every time.

I hope no one was hurt! It only takes one wee thing like a tiny crack to cause chaos. It really highlighted just how important the Forth Bridge is, though. I vote for bringing back ferry services!!!!

Careful, with Aaron in a semi enclosed space, there could be flooding

No, it happened as a result of flooding, so the bridge was out of bounds.

Thank you Glendarroch. The roadworks have nearly finished now but from 1st February the water company are going to be laying water mains in the town that is the 'hub' of my journey to work and there are going to be road closures as a result - this will last 20 weeks! If I could drive the journey would take about 15 minutes going a different route but I have a health problem which stops me driving. On the plus side I've made some really good friends through catching the same buses every day

It was great on Friday when Kerry told Chrissie to stick her peace offering! Kerry is still supportive of Ruby and her memory. With Nessa not being such a nice character anymore, much as I still like Michelle Hardwick, and Ruby gone, Kerry could be my favourite local ED character now! I like Tess, but more for having liked Nicola Stephenson for a long time.

Michelle was in yesterday's Daily Express magazine. She had auditioned for a few characters before Nessa, interestingly including Kerry!

Mini Synopsis of Episode

Priya and Rakesh got back together.
After Rakesh was honest with Priya about last week
And Priya and Chrissie having a conversation where Chrissie told him Rakesh loves Priya
While Kerry earwigged and mess up a womans haircut
Diane got rid of a Cameron loving Pub buyer who wanted to see the cellar.
Chas and Gordon top and tailed the episode so to speak
Analysis theory Paddy let Aaron overhear that he was going to see Tess then lent Chas his car so Aaron would follow her and see her with Gordon which then distracts Aaron from bothering Paddy Any more over Tess.
Pearl apologised to Rhona
Kirin and Vaness got no sleep after Johnnie wnet of Mumford and Sons
Victoria and Adam saw Jonnie and were better parents than Kirin
So Kirin got jealous and forbade Adam from ever again seeing Johnnie.

QUOTE=kwynne42;81168715]Analysis of Emmerdale Farm

There was an Anniversary celebration going on at the Malt, why couldn't we have seen that.

1) Aaron - Damn, so close, almost got him with ways how to Kill Aaron Part 113 from yesterday never mind next time.. Pity he didn't flee to France though, we could have built a huge wall to keep him and all the other refugees from coming here again.

Aaron is obviously very good at the cutting his arm and chest were cut to ribbons has he ever thought about working in an abattoir or Butchers they want people who are good with kniives

2) Robert - Is he in a sympathetic likable phase where we are supposed to like him again where he is all caring and sharing. Where would he get the money to buy the Pub.

3) Victoria lit up the episode.

4) Hunky Duncan prefers Tracy to Carly? does he? the way Carly was looking last night? is he blind? Is he Stupid?

So he is going to pay for all that wine just because he has a date with tracy

5) Paddy jealous that the Moron has a date with tess.

6) Me thinks the gormless Moron will regret being with Tess.

7) Chas rejected Aaron for Gordon, yes very sensible

8) Gordon has an awfully strong scouse accent for someone who is supposed to grow up in Yorkshire near the dingles

9) The Dingles welcomed Gordon like an old friend bet that doesn't last

10 Prya - for someone who was moaning about what rakesh did she told rather blatant lies to WPC Barnaby

11) Kirin was mean to Adam and called WPC Barnaby on his father, loyalty not something he is fond of.

12)Vanessa - did want any fuss so decided no to help the police.

Ways how to kil Aaron given my partial success yesterday I have new hop

Part 115 The Antibiotics don't work and Aaron dies.

Part 116) Aaron catches MRSA and dies painfully and slowly

Part 117) Aaron is attacked by a mad doctor and is murdered.[/quote]

@kwynne - well done on coming so close with No.113 yesterday.
I'm now hoping that No.114 will turn out to be the final nail in the coffin instead.

Btw, I'm rather disappointed that your trusty local reporter failed miserably to report on the massive Malt Shovel Anniversary bash. Or maybe he didn't think it was interesting enough cos no llamas died during it?
