If she leaves they'll gather the housemates and tell them why I think.

[/b]QUOTE]patsylimerick;81045004]Wow. I'm in shock. I had Bowie down as relatively young and healthy. Rest in Peace

He was young by today's standards. I'm only a couple of years younger and don't consider myself old

I think she will leave and I think she should leave. Not so much because of their relationship; which was clearly fractious - more because she's there, really, AS his ex. I think it would be better if she left.

Not sure if she should leave or not as they are and have been for years compleTly estranged from each other. If she leaves it will look like she is jumping on the band waggon, if she stays it will look like she doesn't care

On the whole bad-mouthing thing, I don't think she has, to be fair. I think she's full and frank about the state of their relationship - and her own state - when they parted.i agree
I'm not surprised we didn't know he was ill though as he has always been a very private person

I haven't seen my ex in years, thankfully. I would be sad for five minutes if he passed, but that would be it.

Describing Angie, the late Bowie said: " She has as much insight into the human condition as a walnut and a self-interest that would make Narcissus green with envy"

Very shocked to hear the news this morning . A real " legend" ( not like the way the word is loosely used today) RIP. David Bowie ..And yes Angie will leave I think she wanted out anyway but after being told I'm sure she will go .

Yes, perhaps out of respect for her son - but he has none for her. He is 43 years old and completely estranged from his mother. They haven't seen each other, since he was 13 years old.

She left him with his father, when they split up and she hadn't seen David for 40 years.

We don't know if Duncan Jones, her son, had any contact with her daughter, his half sister.

I am sure she will leave, though - there is money to be made.

She may not be in contact with her son but if there was ever a time he may try to reach out it will be now.

She will be in a no win situation now regarding staying, damned if you do damned if you don't.

I don't like her much, it's clear through history Bowie didn't like her (post split). I just hope she doesn't create drama and let's him rest in peace.

RIP David - true legend

I think you may be slightly overestimating Davids reach. I can't see the TOWIE/Geordie Shore generation being too cut up about his passing.

Grew up hearing David Bowie in the sixties and he's just made a new album. Phenomenal collection of work. Sad news but I don't think him and Angie had spoken in many years so who knows if she will leave or not. I don't know what else she has done. To me she has just been famous for being his ex wife.and she didn't seem to have much good to say about him

I'm sure Gemma will milk the situation about being "devastated" to grab a little more airtime.......

I think you could be slightly underestimating the youth of today, my daughter is 16 and has just discovered his work, before Christmas I has to dig out all my old Bowie LPs.

RIP David, you were a true starman.

I noticed what seems like her never ending bitter tirade against him too. She clearly has beef with him and the son.

I guess no one can judge as we don't know the issues between them, but I'm guessing it'll still shock and hurt her to whatever degree. I just hope she doesnt use it by leaving and making money by talking about him.

Such shocking news... but no matter if she stays or goes, I bet David Gest will suddenly turn out to have been David Bowie's secret BFF.

RIP.

why would he want or need her, when she let him go as a young teenager.. and never kept in contact by what Ive been reading, a parent like her doesnt have a heart and doesnt grow one.
