Me neither. I was never a big fan of David but I do appreciate how talented he was.

RIP David.

I'm not underestimating todays youth (i think), there will always be the odd kid who listens back through the classics. I just don't think his profile has been too high in the last few years. The last I remember of him was a drum & bass album from the late 90's.

Cannot believe my all time hero David Bowie has died. I thought you were invincible Ziggy. My heart is broken. Rip Starman

Angie is damned if she stays in damned if she doesn't and I don't think she can win either way whatever she decides to do.
I had just been reading about David forcing her into an open marriage. It's hardly what you would wish for when you have married someone you love and produced a child from your marriage.
David was my hero and will always be but I did not like the way he treated Angie and for putting her in the situation of giving up son Duncan.

Glad some people are keeping perspective. I think her choice should be respected whatever she decides - as only she knows fully the family situation and how she feels.

Because having said that there are some people from the past whose death would be more of a jolt and others less so...

Possibly, but his music is always there somewhere, from TV shows, to spacemen in the space station singing his songs. So they may know of him more than you think.

Not in any stupid conspiracy theory type of way - more in a cosmic - universe type of way.

I know it's just a co incidence but it's spooky to me.

No one hears anything anout Angie for donkey's years and then as soon as she goes on TV, the man she is famous because of dies.

It freaks me out a little bit

I am with you on that.
Call it coincidence but it is kinda spooky. I got chills thinking about it.

If she does leave the house I doubt we'll hear about it for a while. As soon as its announced she's out she'll be thrown into a media whirlwind, so BB will probably give her time to compose herself/contact who she needs to. She might even be out already

Or sometimes funerals are a time for reconnecting with people you haven't seen for a long time and people letting old issues go.

To me she has just been famous for being his ex wife.and she didn't seem to have much good to say about him”

Exactly her so called fame only exists due to her connection to bowie, so I can't see it passing her by completely as its her somewhat only relevance publicly.

Like others have stated its going to be controversial either way, I just hope she doesn't go down the money route.

Absolutely gutted to hear of David Bowies death.
A true Musical Legend.

The world is a poorer place for his passing.

RIP Ziggy Stardust xx

No I agree with you, I was saying something similar about his return to music like he needed to get his last album out there.

He seems too young to pass, and its so sudden.

I think you are underestimating the legend that is Bowie.
My children grew up listening to him as I played him all the time.
He is one of those rare timeless artists.

Have been mulling it over. I have never seen Angie Bowie (she still uses the surname ?) on tv before. She chooses this year to come on UK tv ? Why exactly ? Hmm.

WOW Lights are on early

Let's hope BB has done or about to do the right thing

I doubt very much Angie even knew David had cancer.
Only his inner circle knew about it, this is why it is such a shock to the whole world

Shocking and sad news. I wonder if she knew he was ill, or how ill he was.

I hope it is handled with sensitivity by channel 5, but knowing them I wouldn't bet on it.

She hasn't spoken to him for 40 years
She's done nothing but slag him off

Because there have been several documentaries on him on his 50th anniversary in music and his new album last year and this

I think people in the industry might have had some inkling. BBC4 were showing all his old concerts over Xmas.

I don't know how her relationship with their son Duncan is, but surely he would want her support at this time?

On the net it said he died a few days ago but it was a hoax.

We don't know if Duncan Jones, her son, had any contact with her daughter, his half sister.

I am sure she will leave, though - there is money to be made.”

So true...interviews interviews and more interviews whereas Iman will take a dignified silence as they have done throughout his illness
