We will probably have this debate played out on SOTS tonight (sensitive as always) with the Clash playing softly in the background.

it's her business and her decision
i don't know her business so really let her do what she thinks is best
i'm not going to judge her on this

strangely i was on twitter the other day talking about a housemate possibly leaving the house for a photoshoot , i suggested it wasn't exactly a matter of life and death ie a feebly reason
then this event happens.you just never know what's around the corner

it was as long ago as saturday where she had her "i am not used to being talked back to" panic attack and wanted to leave... while 48 hours later she could have used this as an excuse if she was sill unhappy with the house but it seems from sunday nights show (saturday footage) to this morning she has found the house much more fun than she was then.

db may have died but they said their goodbyes 40 years ago and have had very little to do with each other. they were very much finished "projects" in db art life.

Keep her fee & walk.?

I agree , I know she has spoke about her son and her having not spoken for years ...but has it occurred to her that this might be the only chance for them to reconcile...they might not ..but staying in the house she will never know .I am putting her decision down to shock and hope she rethinks and leaves the house to be with friends and family.

LMSO

And a funeral pyre quietly coming up to temperature so that the rejected ex wife can do the decent thing and throw herself on top of it.

This isn't a normal situation, so she could leave the house with her fee, as opposed to leaving the house without it, as normal walkers do.

I assume they mean to leave and retain her full payment. Celebrities that choose to quit rather than be evicted in the normal way usually forfeit some of their fee.

They have a son, Zowie.

How about the fact her son's father has died?

Why should she leave - she and David divorced donkeys years ago - their son has nothing to do with her these days so why walk out of a paid job for someone she hasnt seen or heard from for over 30 years?

Because it's called out of respect to his family and to her Son.

Her decision to stay on course in the house is entirely logical. It would be more odd if she left over this.”

Absolutely agree with this post

Well perhaps this sad event could be a bridge for a possible reconciliation with her son? Probably not but remaining in the Big Brother house does nothing towards helping such a conclusion.

How is her walking out if a job anything to do with them? I think it could be interpreted as less respectful if she walked out and was therefore judged as "trying to make this all about her". I think she can't win I this situation. Some people will have pre-decided that whatever she does is wrong.

Nor does leaving. Because if she does want to take this opportunity do reconcile I don't think shoving yourself In his face during the initial grieving period is the best tactic of approaching him.

It could also drive a bigger wedge between them, if she made contact with him right now. There is nothing so queer as family and deaths and she would probably be accused of being a vulture that has come to pick over the bones. I do think she should reach out to their son though, but maybe wait until after the funeral and not be too full on and take things very slowly. The chances are he will reject her again and maybe she can't face that and another reason she is staying in the house. Only person who knows is Angie, so guess we will have to wait to see what she says and does.

It's not about David Bowie, she is still a mother and she may still be rejected by her son should she leave the house but she will never know if she doesn't ....
