Has Simon Barlow been seen recently?
CS: Has the domestic abuse storyline ended?
He ate some biscuits on Christmas day but apart from that we haven't seen him since he was complaining about counselling and Robert was getting involved.

I'd actually forgotten about this storyline. Tbh I think I'd rather they just left it if they were going to go back to it....
There was a tiny section in the first Inside Soap issue of 2016 that said the story would be continuing this year but there were no other details.

Of course the sl has not been forgotten and will continue, nothing has been resolved. Like most sls, they are on rotation and don't feature in every ep.
I'm sure there is plenty more mileage left in Curly Si as he enters his teenage years - just like irl, there is plenty of scope for drama.

A recast Simon would be an absolute treat .
They were telling one with Michelle and Steve that went nowhere as well. She teamed up with Liz and together they called him names and mocked him on a daily basis. Michelle even dragged him by his ear down the street. Then when they got back together after he revealed the depression she had contributed to it was as if none of that had ever happened.

Yes, more should have been made about her and Liz's bullying of him that aggravated his mental health state of mind.
