Any ideas when the new series will be shown on E4 (or More4 or 4?).

It moved to E4 for Season 3 last year and they didn't start it until the day it ended in the US. I'm guessing they'll probably leave airing Season 4 until early summer as they'll be able air it uninterrupted then.

If you browse 'Youtube Nashville' at the moment, as I did yesterday, several of the songs that appear near the top of the list are from S4, and at least one of these has a huge spoiler type piece of info in it!

Thanks for the info folks - I hadn't wanted to look too much online in case I came across spoilers. I want to know what's happening, but not 'till I'm watching it for myself.
I guess it looks like June-time (not long if you say it quickly!) & sounds like it will be worth the wait.

Bad news for its many fans with Freeview only.

Very bad news indeed.

Doesn't matter how many good shows they buy with all their ill gotten gold though, I'm still not going to become a $ky victim!

Sky victim? - what does that mean?

It means I don't choose to become encumbered with one of their seriously overpriced subscription packages and relentless promotion advertising, nor do I wish to have a PVR which they control.
(I am not up to date with their predatory marketing practices, but I do know that in the past they have pulled such strokes as demanding people connect a 'phone line to their box, and also sold boxes where they fenced off part of the hard disk for some unspecified future use, again without the consumer having any say in the matter.)

Not for me.

I watched seasons 1 & 2 on amazon prime but season 3 never made it so I just bought the dvd. I won't be going to sky so I expect I'll do the same for season 4.

So disappointed, if I'd have known it wasn't going to be on Freeview I would have 'sourced' it from the US as its been shown. I was saving myself for it!

Gah, I've only got Freeview.

Sky had better not take Empire too!

At least if Nashville Season 4 ends up on Amazon Prime at some point, I can sign up (do they still offer a 30 day free trial? ) and watch several episodes at a time, rather than having to wait each week.

The show has been nabbed by Sky. I have Sky so that's okay but I feel for people who don't.

I'm avoiding spoilers again. My season three boxset arrived this morning. I've seen it already but I prefer to binge-watch boxsets.

An early night and a cup of tea is on the cards. I've been so tired this week after going to Country 2 Country over the weekend.

The fact that it is moving channels again sounds exactly like what happened with 'Friday Night Lights' and 'Breaking Bad' when they were picked up in the UK. Both kept being shifted around and then they stopped airing completely.

Nashville has now been cancelled, so there will not be a Season 5.

There is a petition which will be sent to several other US channels hoping one of them will pick it up.

I haven't watched Season 4 yet, as I kept hoping it would eventually appear on a FTA channel.

I expect anyone reading this thread will have already heard that there will be a Season 5 - as CMT has picked it up.

Yet another channel that is not FTA though.
