Why has this awful woman been picked as a housemate?
I'd have thought, after her miserable failure on I'm a Celebrity, that no self-respecting reality show would have her.
Perhaps the answer is that CBB isn't self-respecting, struggles to find good HMs, and is absolutely desperate.

One of the worst set of hm's ever. I include last years civilian version in that, which was truly dire.

I'm struggling to remember who was even in last year's civilian BB. It probably seemed significant at the time. *searches the internet for something that would prompt memory* Marc, Helen again, ... something like that. I don't remember who won. Someone "harmless", I suspect.
But Gemma ... why was she on BOTS so often? Why was she picked as a HM? IS there some BB viewer demographic that likes her, or finds her especially watchable in some way?

Is there really no one else better than her to go into the house.her behaviour on I'm a celebrity was a disgrace. Why give her another reality show?
She and Lauren don't know her surname, spend all their time on diets then binge. OK magazine must be very short of celebs , that they put these two in along with Kerry Katoain every week.

She comes cheap like the other wannabes.
Gemma's popularity escapes me, just the sound of her voice makes me want to switch channels. I can only think she must have had some good scripts and storylines in TOWIE.

I think she is a right idiot as well! She moaned and walked out of I'm a Celeb and she knew what that programme was like and now she's threatening to do the same on BB even though she knew what BB was like as well?! More fool BB for booking her too. Like I said on other threads, Channel 5's owners seem to have money to burn. Maybe I should apply for a job there seeing how much they pay people.

Anyone remember the meat treat twins who would just lurk around in the background and do something unnecessary like fiddle with cupboard drawers and end up in the background of shots listening in to other people's conversations?

Completely agree. Gemma adds or brings nothing to the show. Pointless waste of time. Hopefully she is gone soon.
