TOMORROW: Angie's grief exploited for ratings

Unbelievably crass to show a woman's breakdown of grief, by all Means she seemed OK at first but as soon as it became clear that she was very upset they should have stopped filming her immediately. I respect the fact she wants to stay on the show but there is some things the viewers have no right to see. Even David Gest (one of the most fame hungry people about) looks visibly uncomfortable about the whole thinf

yeah, that's what I think happened
she said something on live feed, then they cut it as she was starting to say something about someone phoning X all night..............then it cut

She seems ok, so that's good,

Something obviously happened earlier in the house as there seems to have been some kind of argument over who's pulling their weight, about washing up etc, not to do with anything concerning Angie by sounds of it and her news. Perhaps reasons for noms they've given were about who helps in the house and who doesn't , Tiffany and Nancy may have got the most votes perhaps ?

I find the "next time" trailer as twisted as anyone, but by no fault of Angie herself. If she wants to continue with the show, good on her. It's better with her there in my opinion - I think she's massively entertaining and likeable. I'm also wondering if she may think she's "safer" in the house - no paparazzi, no press, people she can talk to who are on her level (I get the feeling she's quite lonely on the outside). I just home C5 don't take advantage of that too much and that she won't wish she left when she watches back how they used her grief.

I'm crossing my fingers tomorrow's show is understated and free of too much drama, with some real human emotion and heart at the centre of it. That could make for the best BB series in years.

Of course, it may end up that we see a task of famous faces where HMs have to guess who's dead and who's still alive, ending with Bowie and a "twist" answer where they reveal he's now dead. I wouldn't put anything past them!!!!!

They haven't spoken since he was about 13 years old. He is 44 now and a successful Hollywood film director and has no plans to ever get in contact with her again. Says all you need to know about her really. She alluded to this on her first night in the house where she slagged him off looking for sympathy from Darren Day and co.

Oh ... long time estrangement then. Doubt he'll be tempted to get in touch now ... whatever it was that caused the breach it's terminal by the sound of it.

he won custody of their son, and her story was David Bowie stopped her contacting their son, it was through no fault of her own, she did want a relationship with him, but he blocked it

, so gotta feel for her if that was the case, and she told David Gest early in the house that Bowie had turned her son against her

but who knows what the truth is, only David Bowie and Angie know and he's sadly died,

She didn't slag her son off, she said she suspected that D. B. was behind him not wanting to see her any more when he was a kid.

He is a grown adult now and has been for a couple of decades. If he wanted any contact with mummy he would have defied daddy by now don't you think?

A 13 year old can see for themselves the truth of a situation. This is the same guy who aged 11 decided he didn't want to be called Zowie anymore. This is the same guy who as a child resisted every attempt by his father to get him to learn a musical instrument; he had no interest in music and his dad couldn't change his mind. I doubt very much he was influenced by anyone or anything apart from his mother's behaviour and attitude towards him as a child.

"‘We stopped communicating when I was 13 and it was the right choice then and I’m convinced it’s still the right choice now. She’s a woman who didn’t have a very positive effect on my upbringing so I think it was the right move."

Tell us what she has said then?
Ive never read anything about her badmouthing them.
Same as ive never read anything from him badmouthing her as a wife or a mother.
Who knows...maybe the guy has ran a very tight ship for years and angie isnt the outcast we think.
I see her as a very interesting hm with a better story to tell than the younger ones in there.

He was a Daddy's boy which is why she left him with David in the first place, it's where he wanted to be, but she had visiting rights and saw him until he turned 13 and told her that he hated her and never wanted to see her again, She apparently tried to see him again for a while but was blocked at every turn she says. IF D.B was badmouthing her to the boy all the time, AND was blocking her, then I fail to see what else she could do. I, like you, have no idea of the ins and outs of it all, but that's what she's said since being in the house. Only the 3 of them know the truth of what went on, and what the current situation is, it's not really our job to be judging with no facts or proof really.

There you will find a very brief mention of her, a sidenote in Duncan's life.

we don't really know what Bowie told him about her
they were both pretty wreckless at the time, but he won custody , and a 13 year old won't have known any more than he was told at the time, and his loyalty was going to be with Dad, not the mother who Dad couldn't stand.

Deciding on having a relationship with his mother or not is a bit different to realising at 13 you're not interested in playing a musical instrument. And even harder, near on impossible if it was decided for you , by Dad, that she wasn't going to feature in his life !

Angie's already told David Gest in the house she wanted to see her son and it was blocked, so perhaps she never got the chance to explain anything to him, as perhaps she couldh't get close , with those around Bowie.

Interesting from the article he was sent to Gordonstone . cripes.

and Bowie was a very private person, and protected any instrusion, so fully story probably will never be known. Interesting from the article, he was sent to Gordonstone ? ...................... cripes. ”

OMG. You quote my comment but obviously didn't read it properly, let alone the link I posted. Bowie never needed to tell him anything! he knew how he was being treated by her, even at 13!! Did you not read the quote from his own mouth? "SHE HAD NO POSITIVE EFFECT ON MY UPBRINGING....." That's not him being told by someone else, that's his feelings at the time, and still are his feelings as a 44 year old adult!!
If you're going to quote people's comments at least read the things properly.

That's her excuse obviously. Just because she said it on Big Brother doesn't mean it's the truth. Also notice how the son never used the Bowie name for anything in his life, yet she still uses it 40 years after last seeing him. For some reason I would tend to believe the son.

she had no positive effect on his upbringing as she wasn't there was she
you have to listen to her side too, she couldn't get close to him, she was blocked
and you have to wonder why.
His loyalty was always going to be with his Dad, he was being brought up and living with him.

I read the article and what the son says, he doesn't elaborate, but Dad disliking mum certainly wouldn't have helped either of them have any chance of a relationship.

Rather than believe one side, which offers little information anyway, listen to what Angie's said too, and sounds like she never got a chance to have a relationship with her son and it certainly wasn't encouraged, and the child grew up with whatever he was told and it's stuck, he doesn't want her in his life. Whether down to brain washing or just estrangement and too much time passed, who knows. you and I don't.

Can only go on what she's said
If she made it up , we don't know,
but giving her benefit of the doubt
She used Angie Bowie for years , and the son wanted to make it by himself in the industry and has done so to his credit, but who knows what opportunities were opened. Using either surname,he was still son of Bowie who had contacts in the Industry, would be daft not to use them.

Brainwashing? wow. There are fanboys and then there are BB housemate fanboys. WTF.
I bet you had never even heard of her before this series of BB. She cracked a one liner you liked and you decided then that you loved her and she is a wonderful human being and has to win. Yeah I get it.
