Support among the Pros

I'm not very knowledgeable about twitter so maybe someone who is can set me straight but the only pro I've seen tweeting Kristina re her pregnancy was Katya.

To me this speaks volumes. Are the existing pros so scared of the PTB that they won't be seen to have anything to do with Pros that are not coming back?

it wouldnt surprise me if many of the pros actually have each others mobile numbers and their congratulations have been sent privately

not everything is done via twitter

I saw congrats from Oti, Gleb, Lilia, Arlene Phillips, and some celebs.

Exactly! The majority of them have known her for years through Burn the Floor and the fact she's been on Strictly for so long!

Plus, Kristina obviously hasn't had a chance to tweet the news herself, and a lot of congratulations-type tweets inevitably come as replies to the person themselves putting their news on twitter...

I think some people are very quick to read hidden meanings into things (though that's how half of the DM's content probably originates, so I guess someone makes something from it!)

It's not as though she can read it at the moment, what would be the point other than to make a show of themselves?

Congratulations etc sent on Twitter are more for public consumption rather than the person being congratulated.

Are you trying to say that the other pro's don't like her, OP? Because I see no evidence of that at all.
Fred.

There's no way I'd tweet one of my work colleagues if they were pregnant - I'd phone them, or at least send a text to congratulate them.

Given her public spirited dobbing in of Janette, Flavia and Pasha as supposedly having relationships with other pros/their celebs, it wouldn't be all that surprising if they and their friends were less than supportive!

However, surely civilised people are able to pick up a phone or email if they want to offer congrats. Just because Kristina is currently choosing to hawk the most personal details of her life out for money in public doesn't mean the other pros are.

Gleb tweeted her support to her for going into the CBB house and congrats on the news of her pregnancy.
