He was brilliant in the jungle, and given the right edits he will be pure comedy on CBB, I've had a sneaky little flutter on him to win.

I read his book (loaned from the library) and it was quite interesting. Lots of showbiz anecdotes as you'd expect.

Was the star of tonight's episode, however unintentionally.

Remember his stories always starting with ' I had a cousin'

I would love him to win.

So do I. It was funny last night when he was telling Gemma about the spider following and she just looked blank.
That was hilarious, Gemma really is an eejit! His 'stories' are brilliant, I wish we got to hear/see more of them.

Forgot how much i loved David Gest.

He was wonderful in the jungle and he's just as wonderful in the house. Hilarious with a heart of gold.

I hope he wins
While he seems mellow and less crazy than I'd assumed, I really can't ever get over him marrying the ancient Liza Minelli just to make money. I mean it's not even clear if he's heterosexual, so that marriage was suspicious from Day 1. Then he walked a year later and sued her for $10 million dollars. He didn't win the case, but him even trying for it was so indicative of his priorities.

The way of life in the States, he claims she beat him constantly.

Er. Right. There are 319 million gay guys married to ancient crones?

Oh, you mean the lawsuit.

Look, an opportunist is an opportunist. Even it being common to sue people in the US doesn't mean he's magically not a greedy little **** for doing so. Just because he's been charming on a UK show or two, that doesn't change his past history. He's just a charming opportunist (vs. a loud, coarse, more obvious one).

Agree. David Gest is my favourite. He came over in the jungle and in CBB so far as a genuinely nice person and compassionate, intelligent and articulate to boot.

Would love to see more of him and hear more of his stories, both the true ones and the 'wind up' ones which are hilarious.

David to win!

His best bit (and possibly the best bit of the series) was lying in bed under a sheet doing nothing.

Takes a special type of genius to pull that off! Great comic timing.
