If that actually happened that's the way it would go down. In events such as that you have to be cautious with information as to avoid panic like with what happened. They would gather the houseguests together at a time and break the news gently in an orderly fashion. If someone had been privy to the information for whatever reason it would make sense that they would be instructed to keep the info to themselves for the time being if they could as to avoid such chaos and panic. The way it came across was as if it had just happened and Angie was privy to it and couldn't keep it in i'm not sure Tiffany even knew David was in the other room cuz she said something about it happening in the diary room and it didn't enter her mind that outside information would be brought in. It made sense organically from both points of view. Neither Angie or Tiffany were stupid in the scenario it's understandable where both of them were coming from. [Angie was a little bit for simply saying David but being considerate that she was in a self absorbed state of mind at her mental state hearing such tragic news]
It was simply a perfect storm of chaos and confusion. No one's fault and no one to blame. Some things transcend intent or blame or whatever.
