And Gemma wanting her shoes back

Have to admit I laughed out loud throughout (And I really like David Bowie and was shocked and saddened by his death).

Initially I didn't cotton on to the mistake and just thought Tiffany must've been a massive David Bowie fan.”

Took me a few seconds too to cotton on and then when I saw where it was heading, I was nearly choking with laughter, especially when they went to check on David and he had a sheet over him.

I rewound it to watch it all again it was so funny.

I'm a massive Bowie fan and was so upset yesterday, but that situation in that madhouse, really cheered me up tonight. I'm so relieved that some other people on here have the same twisted sense of humour as me.

Sorry for your loss Btw. I recently lost my best friend to cancer. Awful disease.

It's "my daughter died in front of me" - "no she didn't though" all over again.

I felt embarrassed for laughing so Im glad to see I was not the only one.

Gemma asking for her shoes back was the icing on the cake for me

I forgot that one. Yes, that was funny in a farcical sort of way as well. What series was that? Who were the people involved? I remember the exchange but can't remember the hm's. I always forget them as soon as the series has ended.

Dan (Rylans husband) and that really odd woman - I've forgotten her name.

That episode made the entire series for me. I HOWLED. I'm a Bowie fan, and I have no doubt that he would have laughed his arse off.

You couldn't have scripted that episode any funnier if you tried. So many comedy moments. Absolutely classic BB. Every emotion was rolled out all in one episode. It cheered me up at an otherwise sad time.

I felt bad laughing..am glad I've read this..angie probably should have verified but to her David is David Bowie..and she was still in shock..Tiffany is pathetic and should have thought of someone other than herself and calmed down..me,me,me..

One of the funniest most hilarious things i've seen on Big Brother.

It really did seem like Angie was talking about David Guest and the crazy coincidence that David is laying in the bed under the covers nowhere to be found.

Angie said David as if people are expected to automatically know she's talking about David Bowie like he's the only David on the planet. I understand Tiffany's confusion there with the way Angie approached it and Tiffany's later explanation not thinking they would get outside information.

Ridiculous how quick people turn on others in there also.

Daniella to Angie. "She said, you said David is dead". Angie. "He is". Daniella..."no he's not, he's asleep in bed".

It doesn't help that David Gest looks as if he's been embalmed at the best of times.

Absolutely hilarious.

RIP Mr Bowie.

That could be interpreted that Angie just found out and Angie or Big Brother didn't want the information to be spread in a chaotic method because it was such huge news, and/or maybe a later announcement to the entire house to where Angie wasn't supposed to tell anyone at the current time.

Looking at it from Tiffany's point of view with no realization or information about David Bowie it all lines up for such a perfect storm.

John and Daniella came out looking terrible there. What a couple of self righteous/self important people and the others came off sheepish. Tiffany's error was saying she said David Guest to defend her position possibly out of embarrassment but within such an emotional chaos i don't think either Angie or Tiffany should be vilified there with both sides being understandable. John mister self righteous putting his snout in the middle of things leading a witch hunt was the true villain.

I have a cough and could hardly get my breath last night.

I woke up laughing this morning.

I'm now on a bus going to work shaking trying to hold back laughter reading this thread 😂

It also seemed Tiffany thought Angie had killed David Gest ..especially with her "don't tell anyone"

I felt sorry for Angie....and I think Tiffany's behaviour was because she felt humiliated and combined with her feeling of being out of place in the house, it just compounded the issue.

Was funny tho

It wasn't funny at all. It was a new low for this show and Channel 5.

One of the funniest things I've seen on Big Brother ever. I was in hysterics

It was brilliantly comical the way everything happened. The fact that David Guest was feeling ill and was in bed all covered up, John was in the shower so was unaware of the situation.
It was perfectly understandable that Tiffany thought she meant David Guest was dead.

All the hysteria was amazing to watch, especially Tiffany nearly having a nervous breakdown.

I think it's as she stated you aren't allowed information from the outside. To see Angie so close to tears and knowing David wasn't feeling too good must have made her jump to the wrong conclusion.

I have to agree with you sadly, I can't stand his sneering looking down his nose attitude. He seriously think he is popular IMO after his little act over Winston having an opinion.

It was funny. Just because you didn't find it so, doesn't make it not.

It's tragic DB is no longer with us but that was the was one of the most genuinely, authentically funny moments I've ever seen on CBB.
