The funniest episode of BB ever,I laughed until my sides ached....I've put it in my planner to record on +1 so I can save it and play back when I feel down. I'm sure David Bowie would be splitting his sides too RIP Beautiful man x

I feel so bad about finding that funny, and I feel so sad about David Bowie, but that really was like a scene from Fawlty Towers.

It was an honest misunderstanding, and easy to see how it came about, especially with David Gest lying in bed with the covers over him.

The others are being horrible over it, can't they see how it could happen.

You have to laugh in the face of tragedy sometimes... but the fact this this is on reality tv is low....
It's a comedy of errors all around. I think BB should know sudden grief is not a fit state to be in a reality tv house.
I do think BB should have stepped in . But cant help thinking David Bowie would be still laughing

RIP David

It was not funny but in an awful sort of way it was. The death of an icon is not in any way funny but David Gest lying under the covers and all that happened at that moment unintentionally was.

With so many reality TV professionals in the cast I find it difficult to take what I see at face value.

Even Darren Day went in to check whether David Gest was in bed, dead. The whole thing was hilarious, still chuckling!

Not amusing, bloody hilarious. I can't believe she lifted the blanket to see the 'dead' body !!!!
It seems wrong but I was laughing too! How long was BB going to leave a dead body in the bedroom? Until they all went to bed so they could remove it quietly?

I laughed till i cried and so did my other half who is a big fan of Bowie. It was farcical and very fawlty towers humour. The fact that Bowie has only just passed made it all very close to the bone thats all. I don't think it reflects on the death of Bowie who inhabits a whole different sphere of affection and respect with the public paling into shade anything cbb has to offer. They all just looked like mindless goons and it was that that had me in hysterics. Bowie was known to have a dark humour too. I suspect he was laughing somewhere in the stars. After all its not like the joke was on him.

David feeling ill at the time made it funnier. I did think it a bit wrong of BB to not step in straight away though and explain to Tiffany what had really happened.

I feel like it should have been funny, but that it wasn't actually because it didn't feel real. I don't know whether that's because it was badly edited and 30 minutes were condensed into 5 with various bits missing, or whether it's because it was staged. I can't believe they would stage something like that, and yet it felt distinctly am-dram. Ultimately it just left me kinda 'meh'.

agree. spot on post. Now the show is over, I'm rolling my eyes and thinking 'yeah, I guess David Jones would be smiling at that prank' but mixing a real upsetting news story with the CH5 'MDF PANTO' is not a good combo

What I found hilarious was the complete ott reaction from the others about Tiffany. 'She has to go, because they're scared.

Did they think she was going to murder them in their sleep?

Darren retelling the story was so funny
"When I pulled the cover over his head there was a brief moment today when I actually thought David Guest had died"

I can imagine David Guests side of the story lol I want to hear his.

It was hilarious

All the dramatics and over acting from everyone and David guest lay in bed snuggled up while he's being mourned in the garden.

Other - I am disgusted.

Watch it back, Tiffany was distraught and genuinely thought Angie meant David Gest - Why, when Tiffany was about to go into the Garden and tell EVERYONE (AGAINST ANGIES WISHES) didn't BB call Tiffany into the Diary room and nip the confusion in the bud?

Yeah you may laugh, but its disgusting to monetize a situation.
Completely agree with you.

OMG Can you imagine? His version will be fabulous. He'll dine out on this one for years.

Do you think he was secretly giggling under the covers as it was all kicking off?

He couldn't have written a better script for himself.

Just watching it now. It's the most surreal thing I've ever seen!! It's very funny and very wrong at the same time :-o. Can't believe BB didn't nip it in the bud by calling Tiffany into the diary room.
