I just explained the background to OH and sat him down to watch it on +1. He HATES Big Brother and LOVED David Bowie. He's laughing like a drain.

I was waiting for Basil Fawlty to appear - It was a farce*

I can't believe it's made me laugh this much! The whole scene was cringingly funny.

Now I get the "intense emotional distress" warning at the beginning.

It became funny when it moved onto Tiffany thinking it was David Gest and the others freaking out and checking on him.

When Angie was telling Tiffany the news, Angie must have been thinking 'wtf is she a big Bowie fan or just emotional?'

Perfect description. It was so awful it just became funnier and funnier.

It seems wrong but I was laughing too! How long was BB going to leave a dead body in the bedroom? Until they all went to bed so they could remove it quietly?
Oh don't! You've started me off again..

I can't lie, even though there was a death behind it which makes it feel wrong, I couldn't help laughing out loud at points.

It's like the worst possible thing which could happen, happened.
As Angie said, it was a comedy of errors.

When several housemates went to David's bed, absolutely shitting themselves, I was creasing up with laughter.
Like David's dead body would be just left there and BB wouldn't have moved him.

The lifting of his duvet

Did he sleep through all this as he was unwell?

I found it funny to start with, but it went on a bit too long.

I laughed out loud at poor Angies face !! She had no idea why Tiffany was reacting like that !! Tiffany was wondering why Angie was so calm and keeping it quiet that David was dead in the bedroom !' The only two who knew the facts , one is in bed sick , the other takes a shower and all hell breaks loose !! David Gest wakes to find himself being checked for dead !!
Still laughing at the farce !'

I am a huge Bowie fan but I watched on +1 after reading this thread and I laughed too - don't understand what else is going on and what this lady Tiffani has done but the misunderstanding was really funny in an unbelievable way. If Big Brother thought a housemate had died like they would really leave him there?!

This incident has probably given the series a huge boost.
This must be one of the biggest highlights of the show in its history, despite it also sort of being a lowlight too considering the events surrounding it.

The funniest episode of BB ever,I laughed until my sides ached....I've put it in my planner to record on +1 so I can save it and play back when I feel down. I'm sure David Bowie would be splitting his sides too RIP Beautiful man x
Brilliant Just how I feel

OMG Can you imagine? His version will be fabulous. He'll dine out on this one for years.

Do you think he was secretly giggling under the covers as it was all kicking off?

He couldn't have written a better script for himself.
How did he not hear them kicking off they must have sound proof .
I wonder if he laughed after them thinking he was dead.
BB had left his body there
I'm waiting on David Guest story now maybe BBBOTS will have his version.
And he was one of the first to know Bowie was dead.

Oh it will never be topped... it just couldn't.... it was absolutely hilarious !!! Where to begin... Angie in the pigtails with the wild red lipstick set the scene. Something very "Baby Jane" about the whole scenario !! Tiffany's hysterics..... the fact that David Gest has looked embalmed for about a decade only added to the LOLs..... complete with duvet over head just to set the scene as it were..... the tentative approach to his bed... just to check.... how would they tell for the love of God... hold a mirror over his gob would be the only way ! Oh this is going to be a YOUTUBE phenomenon !!! This will be talked about for years to come, and just when you are getting your breath back from giggling... out comes.... " I want my shoes back" !! Oh... beam me up Scotty !!!

I watched the last half of the episode first and then watched the first half on +1. In that order it didn't seem funny. I was angered by peoples reaction to Tiffany especially John.
