It was her reaction , running off to tell the others when she was asked to say nothing.

Yes it was a genuine mistake and I feel like the only reason she is acting out is because she feels ganged up on .

Angie did say it was a comedy of errors but Tiff's attitude after the mistake was pointed out to her was to ...laugh

It was an honest mistake, but why did she keep on insisting that Angie had said David Gest even when it was obvious that she had not.

I don't know why Angie seemed so keen to tell the idiot.

Agree, I think both sides misunderstood, Tiffany genuinely thought Angie meant David Gest, and Angie didn't realise this was the case.
Big Brother, of course saw this happening and could have nipped the confusion in the bud. (and in doing so preserved Angies wishes to keep it private) but chose not to. |

I think it was an honest mistake too. And I am at a loss to figure how it spiralled so far out of control so quickly. How did they go from a misunderstanding about names to everyone feels unsafe around Tiff. Possibly the most bizarre episode of CBB I have ever seen,

It was like a scene from sunset beach! It looked so put on from both of them and then you've got half of the housemates running around scared as if Tiffany's about to murder them because she's raised her voice and laughed so they throw a fur coat over Angie while John, Gemma and jonathon form the bathroom mafia to try and get Tiffany removed from the house.
Tiffany reminded me of Brenda from scary movie!

It was a misunderstanding but The British Public probably won't let it go as usual

Tiffany lied to cover up her part of the misunderstanding tho . She insisted for some time that she was told it was David Guest who had died.
She was a long time in the diary room and in the garden with various HM before she finally and reluctantly conceded she was wrong. |

She genuinely thought David Gest had died though. How could she be expected to keep that news to herself and not tell the rest of the house?
If I put myself in Tiff's shoes (or should that be Gemmas? ) and what she beleieed that would have seemed an outrageous ask.

I don't think there was an ounce of spite from Angie OR Tiffany, although it might have seemed that way when Tiffany was out of her depth, backed into a corner with no idea how she got there and lashing out in defence! Same can't be said for the rest of the house, A LOT of spite there. |

Yup it was an honest mistake because when she told everyone that Angie told her David had died they all immediately thought it was David Guest as well.
The only thing Tiffany did wrong was try to cover up that she had make a mistake by lying and saying that Angie specifically told her David Guest. |

It was. But once she realised it she should have acknowledged it rather than continue the "all about me" scenario.
The others were told, by Tiffancy. That David Guest was dead. They calmed down and realised the mistake. |

She was a long time in the diary room and in the garden with various HM before she finally and reluctantly conceded she was wrong. "David's dead" sounds like David Gest. They are very phonologically similar and Tiffany's explanation made sense because she didn't expect anyone to be receiving news from the outside world. |

Of course, by this time she had the whole house ganged up on her and she genuinely didn't know why! She was probably questioning her own recollection and paraphrasing out of embarrassment, justifying in in her own mind because she was SO sure she of what she THOUGHT she heard.

Which are absolutely the conditions of great farce. Which was why it was so funny.
And I hate myself for laughing because it was tasteless and it is too soon. But ![]() ![]() ![]() I feel a tad disrespectful now though ![]()
