(I posted this in another thread, but the thread title of the other thread is a bit confusing unless you watch Eastenders)....

That's what I noticed in tonight's show.

The first time when he said people learn to move on he himself said that the solution was that Tiffany must go. But when he approached Tiffany he said that it was everyone else who wanted her to go.

The second time Christopher, although he meant well, made a hash up of it and told the group that Tiffany wants to have dinner with them and clear the air. Of course it was Christopher who put the idea to Tiffany, and well just made a balls up of it. But of course it was John who was the person who immediately put the block on that and told Christopher that nobody wants to do that.
Again, he went into the garden and told Tiffany that it was everyone else who didn't want to go along with the idea (which was Christopher's anyway).

He likes to play the act of being Mr. Reasonable but I can see how he is often the one who encourages negativity against other people, but then acts all reasonable and objective as though it's everyone else who has the problem.

I think BB probably handled this badly and should never have allowed the news spread like chinese whispers.
They should have simply asked Angie if she would like them to tell the housemates together on the sofas all at the same time to ensure that the situation is clear and understood.

The way the news was revealed to various housemates created a situation where there was a good chance that at least one of them would immediately think of David Gest.
I mean why wouldn't they think of David Gest? As he's going to be the first David to spring to mind.

Personally I think that the producers of BB would have absolutely loved the way which events transpired.

Certainly. It would count as influencing the nominations.

He didn't seem to like Christopher being the reasonable and fair one did he?
He had to put the blocker on that. After all that's the role which he's already cultivated for himself.

He is despicable. I have just caught up with the Episode.

Hate him..really do..He's a common bully....I have been around people like him.. emotional bullies...escalating things deliberately.

It had nothing to do with John. Why didn't he sit Tiffany down and tell her she got it wrong instead of trying to get rid of her. He is lucky he didn't go any further with that chicken comment too.

I just thought he was under the illusion he has the mortgage for the BB house.

John was absolutely disgusting in that. No way do I agree with how Tiffany handled herself or that situation. Yes she was bang out of order for it, but I do think it was the case of feeling backed into a corner. Who was John to rally the housemates up to make her leave? At the end of the day, Tiffany made a mistake. Angie didn't clarify what David she was referring to. Had I been in the house I'd have assumed she was talking about David Gest. Not someone who divorced her 30 years ago.

Something I found interesting on twitter. Isn't it funny how John took the lead in taking down Tiffany in a situation that didn't concern him, yet when it came to homophobic comments from Winston on something that effects his life - He gave him a pass. He's forever trying to play the hero

me too
overreacts to EVERYTHING
His reaction to Darren wearing the boxing gloves was so over the top
then tonight all he had to do to take the heat off Tiffany was tell the house the news Angie had received and tell the HMs how Tiffany had got the wrong end of the stick and empathised with her mistake and the group would have followed , but

he didn't.

says it all about John and being more interested in camera time

Can't stand the man

think Christopher (who's bit invisible in that house at the moment) Darren and Nancy came off best in all of that , only ones acting reasonably in a situation that was just as Angie said 'a comedy of errors'

John's a self-absorbed ******

I may be wrong but wasn't he also the first to say "she has to go then!"? I'm not even sure anyone was even suggesting she leave at that point. He's a people pleaser, he acts and reacts according to whoever is in front of him rather than forming his own opinion and standing by it. That's where the duality of his behaviour with Tiffany comes from. In the house he was pleasing everyone by saying he'd confront Tiffany and tell her she had to leave. When he confronted her he turned this into "THEY want you to leave" so that to her he appears neutral. He's not to be trusted

John was falling over himself to make sure Winston did not feel isolated, yet went out of his way to make sure Tiffany did feel isolated.

I don't get him at all.
