''for about 30 seconds i genuinely thought david gest was dead.''
![]() ![]() It was weird- I laughed when he was trying to comfort Angie while she was munching away on a sandwich without a care in the world. |

David Guest waking up to find himself being checked over for dead !!!
John Partridge over reacting and making an arse of himself !' Angie wondering if she had told the secret to Bowies greatest fan '! Darren Day leaping up to whip the duvet pff David Guest to check if he is alive I want my shoes back now David Bowie must be cracking up at the hilarity of farce |

I was possibly the best TV moment Big Brother has provided.

I bet Channel 5 can't believe their luck. They booked a celeb's ex-wife, celeb dies, celeb's wife tells gobby HM but omits surname at the same time another David is poorly in bed, gobby HM goes apeshit.
They couldn't have written a better script. |

To be fair, Big Brother didn't do anything. This was 100% organic. You couldn't script it.

Big Brother really should have stepped in the moment Tiff got the wrong end of the stick as her behaviour will have been very distressing for Angie. They had a duty of care for Angie (and indeed the others) at this sad time, and should have called Tiffany to the diary room the moment things got out of hand. Obviously, we wouldn't have had such an astonishing episode, but the housemates welfare comes before our viewing pleasure.

I bet the producer on call was in a state of shock. Imagine that unfolding before your eyes.

I was fully expecting it to be a sad episode but it was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. I'm still chuckling.

In all these years I've never seen anything quite like it. It was utterly bizarre.

You couldn't have scripted it any better if you tried. It was like watching a play at times.

Although it was about a very sad event, it turned out to be one of the funniest episodes in a very long time. Loved it.
