What an incredibly self centred bunch .
Bowie died and apart from one house mate it went totally unremarked . Now that actually was funny 😆😆😆😆 |

Maybe they did . The edit is only a snippets of the day . It probably dawned on them all later after the comedy of errors !'
I think David would have laughed his socks off at it and maybe written a song RIP David |

Most annoying moment was Daniella looking around in confusion like a total idiot and going "David Bowie's not dead, is he?" As if Angie was talking about an event that had happened months ago or something.

To be fair, it must seem very unreal to them in there, with all the hysteria and madness going on around them. Must be hard to have a "normal" emotion.

I think in the end, they were all just relieved it wasn't 'their' David.

They just don't strike me as the type of people who would give a toss about him or understand why he is an icon. |

So they too were also unable to relate that this was news given to Angie in the diary room about David Bowie. I think the key point where this all went wrong was that it wasn't made clear to the housemates that Angie had been called to the diary room to receive this personal news. Once Angie, John, and David Gest were out of the diary room the only David which exists to the other housemates is the David they're living with. Which really is a failure or success depending on how you look at it on BB's part. |

To also be fair, David Bowie would probably mean absolutely nothing to about half of the house.

Well yes, that was interesting, one or two of the housemates were saying "But David Bowie isn't dead".

![]() ![]() You'd think that they film a little scene and chuck it in at the last moment wouldn't you? Because they've done something like that before. |

And he was very conveniently encouraged by BB to go and have a nap. When a few moments before we are led to believe he is one of two confidents approved by BB to support Angie.

Well firstly, that's a huge assumption, and secondly, if they don't know about him, does it really matter? He was a massive star, but not everybody was a big fan.
![]() ![]() No it doesn't matter. I'm just saying exactly the same thing you are. They simply don't strike me as the type of people who would care less about David Bowie. Isn't that what you're saying? |

They just don't strike me as the type of people who would give a toss about him or understand why he is an icon. Ironically, it's us mere mortals who live in the real world outside who would be far more capable of appreciating the true genius of David Bowie. |

Hmm, it makes you wonder.
![]() It certainly does. On the other hand you just couldn't set all that up. I guess I just have to accept that fact is stranger than fiction at times.
