That raised my eyebrow I must admit and I'm usually not sensitive to those sort of things.

You know, it could be because they were having chicken for dinner.

Ridiculous theory. She behaved terribly - nothing to do with colour. She should have apologised and moved on. A woman lost someone who was important in her life and Tiffany was aggressive even after her mistake, was very disrespectful and made it all about herself.

Is that how Brian Belo and Brian Dowling won (to name just two)

Why is it these days that if a person is not liked someone has to make out it has to be because of the colour of their skin, their sexuality or religion and cant simply be because of their personailty.

When I commented on Twitter that I didn't like one of the contestants on the last run of X Factor I was called homophobic simply because I didnt like his singing style

Oh and I am gay

Why? All the housemates have said about her being lazy and not helping out, all take and no give. That's why Gemma was telling her to try and help out at the end of the episode.

When someone gets upset they need calming down not to be scolded, patronised and lectured.”

That came after she was told of the mistake, as did her slagging Angie off, outright lying about what was said and laughing about it all.

Wasn't a little mean to try and prevent her from having a dinner the rest of the house was having? I thought that was terrible

They would have shown anything physical. This is CH5 why would they edit it out? They want the ratings and controversy.

Bear in mind Jonathan was leaving
They would've had to have chucked her out and the viewers would've demanded it , they wouldn't want to lose 2 USA hm in a day

I know but I just don't buy it. They would never turn down an opportunity to show something like that ch5 imo is very distasteful most of the time lol

I agree that she should have apologised sooner but the way they turned on her is very odd especially by john he needs to realise he doesn't own the house

I'm sure your not racist but people need to stop justifying reasons why they are not racist by claims of they have black friends or neighbours or in laws or cousins anyone can be a racist

Yes, remember that shot in the LF where the camera lingered strangely over her grazed knuckles, perhaps she punched a wall or something.

I am not claiming they are racist but I am just trying to understand the tone of the reaction. It was mainly Jeremy. He was trying to portray her like she was more unstable and dangerous that she was.

No one seems to appreciate how she believed one of her housemates had literally died

Learning something like that is going to be shocking and make you behave irrationally.

We don't know what footage they didn't show but now people are assuming Tiffany acted badly in the unseen footage but they could have all behaved badly in the unseen footage.

The assumption that the other HMs seemed to make was that Tiffany was going to get violent. Angie was stopped from trying to explain to Tiffany and Tiffany was stopped from explaining to Angie, on the basis that she was going to get violent. Angie was actually cowering. Why?

ABW time.

A reality TV staple.

Lazy casting by BB.

I guess what leaves a foul taste in my mouth is how they immediately label her as a danger. Someone who has to leave, who they don't feel safe around. The subconscious language people choose in these circumstances isn't racism, but a ingrained stereotyping of non-white people as "having certain traits"

With black people, aggression is ALWAYS brought up. Who can honestly say that Stephanie or Megan would have received the same comments for similar actions?

They labeled her a 'danger' because she was aggressive AND irrational, and wouldn't let it drop. They variously said she was 'nuts' and 'crazy' and 'insane'.

Nothing to do with her colour.

As soon as people started talking about how they felt "unsafe" and "threatened" around her my hackles went up. I mean sure the whole situation was a mess and she didn't help by doubling down on her anger to Angie but the real escalation was on the part of John/Danniella/Kristina who led the way in ostracising her. Tiffany misunderstood the situation, fine. Didn't try to correct it when the mistake was pointed out to her, badly handled. The other housemates whiplashing on her and making out like she was dangerous, gross.
