To my ears, it sounded like another huge misunderstanding. Tiffany said that Angie had told her David had died, that she had asked 'David Gest?' and Angie had said yes. In fact I think that Angie probably didn't even hear the second name and just agreed with the 'David' part of it.
What a muddle. It's all very strange.

She did. But she didn't mean to. I think she genuinely misunderstood but handled the aftermath badly.

A lot of people lie when they don't want to admit they got something wrong.

The thing is that Tiffany let that go and didn't keep bringing it up, she knew she was in the wrong.

She said she asked her whether it was David Guest but she didn't, unless it was edited out because Angie also said in the diary room she mentioned David Guest during the initial argument.

I think Tiffany was in shock and genuinely believed that David in the house had died, he was in bed ill after all, she just assumed it was the HM David and why wouldn't she?

I think it was just a complete misunderstanding.

It would have helped if Angie didn't tell Tiff "He just died" when she would have been told by her agent, he died overnight or the previous day (as it was confirmed as a Sunday death).

Tiffany would have sussed "an overnight death" must have related to another David, even she isn't that dim!!

Ps. I was a bit convenient both David and John P were "indisposed" when 'David-Gate' first kicked off, maybe its the cynic in me

1.23 pm David advised by BB to rest , Angie and Tiff are in the kitchen. Tiff tells Angie she likes her hair and Angie thanks her .Tiff mentions the black ribbons then asks "Are you okay"?
Angie replies "I'm fine honey..and you are looking at me , and you are looking deep.Tiff says "Yeah" and Angie says "You got it.... you know I wouldn't be in this condition if it was just a cold.
Tiff then suggests to Angie they move to the seating area in the lounge.
Angie then says to Tiff "Tiff you got to do me a favour.. Tiff "Anything"
Angie "You can't say a word" Tiff "Nothing"
Angie " David is dead"
Tiff "No he's not" Tiff grabs onto Angie and screams.
Angie "You can't do that"
Chris, Daniella, Nancy and Darren are in the smoking area and Darren asks"What the **** was that"?
Back to the lounge and Tiff asks Angie "Are you serious"? and Angie asks her to sit down...telling her "Stop it! Stop it!... they are all going to know" they hug
It's then that Tiff says to Angie "Your playing I know your joking" Angie looks shocked and tells Tiff "I would never joke" Tiff then shout "Oh my god" a few times and repeats she thinks it's a joke .Angie tells her not to be crazy that she would never do something like that.
Tiff asks "What happened"? and Angie says "Just happened now"
Tiff "Why how"?
Angie "Cancer"and tells her "You got to stay calm ... please"
Angie "This is not what I planned to do... I wasn't going to say anything"
Tiffany"Oh my gosh , we got to get everyone together"
Angie "Shh...I can't do that honey, give me a minute"
Tiffany "I feel sick..wait a minute I need a drink"
Angie "Oh gosh...this is not going well"
Tiff then summons everybody to come saying "I can't keep this a secret" as she heads out to the garden.
Chris asks her "What's up" ? and Tiffany says "She told me something and I have to say it ...I'm not able to not say it..I hope she is just joking but she says she's not."
Chris keeps asking "What"?
Tiffany "She told me that David is dead"
Chris "David...David"?
Tiff "Yes!! she said he just died and I can't ******* hold it in by myself"

Well she did say what David, David? And Angie said yes. So Tiffany could be lying or just remembering it wrong. What was woman supposed to think? David Bowie probably isn't even on her radar!

There's only one David in the house, so it was natural she'd think David Gest.

She didn't lie she genuinely believed it was David Gest so assumed that had been clarified.

Whatever it's all peace between those 2 now and it's patently clear the only real baddie in there is John

The woman actually accused Angie of being a liar, she said Angie said David GUEST

Why nobody didn't suggest Tiff clarify with Big Brother whether Guest was said or NOT is beyond me. The villains were not the two women, it was an unfortunate accident which hopefully placed a broad smile on the "real David's" face. I miss his genius already.

She did indeed . Angie at no point said David Guest. Tiffany swore that that was what Angie said. She lied to try and dig herself out of a situation and just made it worse really.

Tiffany did use David Guest second name when it wasn't mentioned. I personally think that Tiffany is a massive drama queen and likes the air time!

Who knows I believe it was a mistake. Angie could have agreed with Tiffany when she said David Guest and BB edited it out.

Correct . For some reason she has it in for angie . Lied about her a few days ago regarding dressing for the talent show as well .
