Perhaps they'd been treated to some of this.

i honestly couldn't understand it. tiffany thought david gest was dead so obviously she freaked out, if everyone had just laughed it off it would have been over with in 10 minutes but angie had to play the victim sobbing and shaking in people's arms. why would she even tell tiffany if she wanted it kept a secret? if i was tiffany i would have felt ganged up on and probably would have lashed out just like she did. especially if i had saint john coming over telling me how frightened everyone was of me and how much everybody wanted me to leave. it was very telling that even after her and angie had made up and she came in and offered to help wash up or make tea or coffee he still would not even look at her. i've never bought what he's selling, even from the start i've thought there was something abit false about him but now it's confirmed.

do you honestly believe that if she had kicked off even more that they wouldn't have shown it? they would have probably cut jeremy and david's and megan and scott's scenes just to make room for as much fighting and arguing as possible.

It was heat of the moment I think, they can patch things up in that time. He seems mature, I can't see him holding a grudge for too long. If he did, yeah, I'd lose respect.

I initially felt sorry for Tiffany but when she called Angie an old bitch in the bathroom all sympathy left. As soon as she found out the truth she should have apologised to Angie but instead just called her names. I can't believe how selfish and nasty she was. All John did was be a spokesperson for the group.
I understand the confusion and can see both sides but Tiffanys behaviour once she found out the truth was appalling.

Now cast your mind back to Winston. He went out of his way to make Winston feel welcome having his own opinion, there was no mention of trying to have him removed and even entertained his group apology meeting.

What exactly is his game? Him and Kristina also enjoyed shunning Tiffany at the daily dishwash.”

He wants to clamber onto the moral high ground with the LGBT vote to win, but he's actually quite a nasty and spiteful person.

John has a vastly inflated sense of his own importance. I think that he still feels that by putting himself in the box on launch night that he became the house leader. As the days progress he seems to be becoming more pompous (not a bully imo) and he is riding for a fall.

He did show his true colours by nominating Angie. He was in the diary room with her when she specifically stated that her reason to stay in the house was because she felt safe there away from the press. John, in his superior wisdom then nominates her because he doesn't think it's the right place for her.

Well after that carry on and the more unnecessary upset I think he probably had a point at that time. He had to nominate that evening - it was the end od a very strssful day where Angie had been made even more upset.

Do you not think he had a point?

I think that it's Angie's decision as to whether it's the right place for her to be. Other people, who have known her for only a week, do not have the right to decide what's best for her.

She has been told that she can leave anytime that she wishes to so I feel that John was yet again, in his role of master of the house, deciding how others should feel / act / respond.

Anyone who wields too much power builds up alot of resentment (Richard, Kathreya, Vinnie Jones ect). If not within the house then certainly out of it. Especially since viewers want to see a competition, not a classroom.

John was doing well but his desperation to be the perfect peacemaker and spokesperson may backfire as he's coming across insincere and condescending.
I think he needs to relax and inject a bit more personality, a robot could fill his role at the moment. Or come to think of it he's actually trying to take BB's role.

I hope Tiffany stays in and gives John hell oh and add one or two housemates to spice things up.

It is good though, he is a villain and doesn't know it, Unlike the ever tedious Farah and Jenna last series. We need villains but villains that don't know they are villains.

I wouldn't call him an out and out villain, he's just far too controlling and sanctimonious. He has appointed himself as head of the house and seems to believe he speaks on behalf of everyone. Very tedious.

His leading the pack against Tiffany behind her back but acting to her face like it was everyone but him was horrible.

Yes, I think that's a more measured and reasonable assessment of the prat that is John.

Not in the house he isn't though.
Which unfortunately is usually the case.
When somebody like John is in the BB house the other housemates usually capitulate.

I'm not liking John as much as I did when he first entered the house. He was a bit cold towards Tiffany in last night's show. I thought he was an okay fella. I'm not so sure now. I can see him becoming a bitch halfway through this. Christopher seems like a nice and warm lad. Kristina was a right nasty cow in last night's show towards Tiffany. I wouldn't want to be around her. If Angie was okay with Tiffany when Tiffany apologised to her, why shouldn't Kristina be? Kristina behaved like a nasty bitch.

I haven't been watching since the beginning so maybe I missed something everyone else is seeing, but I can see why John was angry and don't really get the villain thing. Tiffany was told she was in the wrong and she still was calling Angie a bitch and didn't seem in anyway sorry. John had seen Angie upset earlier in the day over a real life bereavement, not some silly house argument. Tiffany was being out of order.

From what I have seen, yes he can come across sanctimonious and he seems to like the sound of his own voice, but that's hardly a crime.

Great post. Spot on. Especially the robot comparison.
