Why would she confide in Tiffany, who she didnt like, then purpousfully not make it clear what she was talking about?
And she had plenty of time to make herself clear, but chose not to.
Tiffany looked like she thought it was a bad joke Angie was playing on her.
Angie is a sly one, crying crocodile tears.

We just discussed this at home - and we agree , did you notice that a simple enquiry by Tiffany and Angie jumped on it with all this "you see it in my eyes, let me tell you what's wrong" (wtte) business.

Also....why confide in Tiffany of all people?

You've made some good points there. It was very strange.

No she didn't, how could she even comprehend what she had just been told. No sympathy at all for the self obsessed Tiffany

She maybe confided in Tiffany as a fellow American.

I'm certain she didn't mean to mislead - she was wound up inside her own head and hadn't realised that Tiffany had misunderstood.

Just a case of two women both grabbing hold of the wrong end of the stick.

I saw it differently; I saw that Angie had received some momentous news and although she didn't want to have to tell anyone, on the other hand she just had to offload to someone and Tiffany was there. You could tell the moment she had said it she regretted it, realising Tiffany's hysterical reaction.

I don't understand this. I know people blindly support housemates they like but jesus christ... what is wrong with you?

Angie did nothing wrong here. Tiffany was aggressive to her even though she knew she had lost somebody important in her life and was grieving. Tiffany was more concerned with herself. Appalling.

No I don't believe Angie thought for a second Tiff would react like that ...I do believe that Tiff may have seen this is an opportunity for massive airtime...regardless of what" David" it was that had died.

She knew how shed react. As far as Tiffany was aware, she had just been told a housemate died!
It was a mix of freaking out and disbelief.

I find it strange that anyone believe's this, I doubt Angie can read her own mind let alone anyone else's.

No, Angie was more concerned with herself.
She literally had 2 mins to say "no Tiffany, i mean David Bowie"
But she kept quite about that, didnt she?

Good old sammy pepper also pranked someone into believing someone close had died.

The difference being his was deliberate.
Tiffers just wanted to know if hers was too.

It happened twice in the showbiz task with Angie confusing both Tiffany and Daniella .

I really do think this was all a misunderstanding. I don't think Angie attempted to mislead, and I do think Tiffany genuinely got the wrong end of the stick.

I 'get' that Tiffany got the wrong end of the stick. But WHY did she tell the housemates that Angie said it was DAVID GEST?! She never said his name. She said DAVID, but she never said GEST.

In Angie's defence, I don't think she realised that tiffany thought she meant David Gest ... Tiffany never said to her that she thought she was on about David Gest..

How could Angie have known this? I thought Tiffany was freaked out that David Bowie was dead, until she went into the housemates and screamed that David Gest is dead!

But yeah, IMO. Tiffany made that bit up (saying Angie had said David Gest,) to try to cover her back, and it backfired.

Still, the over-reaction from the house was pathetic. especially from John; who I have gone off massively. 'She needs to go.' Why? He never said that about homophobic misogynist WINSTON.

She kept quiet because she did not know that Tiff thought she meant David Gest.

its a generation gap thing.in angies eyes tiffany would instantly know who 'david' was.i believe tiffany got it wrong but then overeacted and lied about angie saying gest which she definitely didnt. however the self righteousness of jp and his sheep and the bullying of tiffany was definitely out of order.she was like a scared alsatian in the kitchen. offering to make coffee and dry the dishes . uncomfortable to watch.

It was to be assumed Angie meant David Gest.
Unless Angie made it clear, why would Tiffany think otherwise?
And as i said, Angie had Plenty of time to say "NOT david gest"
But she waited till Tiffany made a scene before speaking up.
