There's no need really for David-gate to turn into it's John's fault; or it's Angie's fault; or it's Tiffany's fault. It wasn't anybody's 'fault'. It was a tragicomic misunderstanding. A very, very funny, surreal misunderstanding.

Lots of people reacted funnily and badly and went ridiculously OTT. Pretty much everyone did - apart from David, who was either asleep or dead.

I think a lot of posters are using what was an extraordinary episode and a memorable BB all-time moment to further their agenda in favour of or against one or other hm.

For instance, Daniella was hilarious; she began by talking about how crazy and **in' out of order Angie was - before switching exactly the same attitude to Tiffany without pause for breath.

I'm fonder of all of them for giving me some genuine belly laughs. I was still chuckling as I fell asleep last night.

In my opinion the situation itself was no ones fault, not the housemates anyway. Big Brother is certainly to blame for letting it blow out of proportion without even trying to contain it (as per Angie's wishes, which they pretended they were going to respect a few minutes previously)

The situation did however bring out a nasty, vile streak in John - or more accurately it showed his true colours in my opinion.

It was like Angie says a comedy of errors. But the thing that bothered me the most is that after it was all sorted nobody seemed to care that David Bowie was dead

Yes it does. Stop pushing this shades of grey thing (you know it won't catch on) when we all know that everything is black and white.

I have to agree with you patsy. As sad as the situation was, it really was like a Monty Python sketch. As Angie said, a comedy of errors.

It gave me the best laugh I've had for ages, although I did feel guilty after LOL!

All that kerfuffle and the 'corpse' was merely sound asleep

Total misunderstanding, but a very funny one.
