As a 2000T owner, I have to day that it's easily the WORST Humax box I have owned.

The HDMI handshaking issue (especially when using an HDMI switching box) needs sorting, but Humax don't seem interested, and there's other numerous bugs that make using one very frustrating.

I've switched back to using my old HD Fox T2 which is as reliable as ever, but sadly only single tuner.

I have been reading all the reviews and I am surprised by your comments, I was under the impression that it was a great PVR? if the 2000T is bad that doesn't say much for the 4000T which has had a bad launch.

Well if you don't get the HDMI handshaking issues, and your tv reception works with the 2000T, then you might get on ok with it.

I've had numerous problems with the 2000T that I simply didn't get with the older version of the box which uses the same software. I'm sure these problems could be rectified by Humax in an update, but so far they've been unwilling to do so. FWIW I wouldn't touch a 4000T in its current state either.
